Dak still throwing everything outside towards the sidelines and it's working in practice great. But where is the high percentage slant throw over the middle where the WR shields 3 defenders with his body and Dak sticks it right into his guy for a TD. I want see those precision throws using body placement. Those are 5 to 7 yard throws into traffic. We all saw what happened when Dak played it safe throwing to Gallup outside 30 yards away for a 7 yard gain. Ball gets picked off because it hangs up there too long.

It’s the first week of practice/ TC. Isn’t this where they’re supposed to work on all aspects of team? Not every group is gonnna be lights out the second they step on the practice field. Give it some time.

Davis looks quicker this year. Best guess is that hes our #2 this year. Especially with the RJ issue.

In fairness there have been some reports that he looks slow at times off the ball.

I am interested to see what kind of game action he gets in preseason. He’s an important cog this year.

In fairness, they changed his stance and he needs time to adjust.

There are video clips of those in this camp.

People doing the videos like to post the outside action because they have a clear shot. There tends to be players blocking their view on the inside throws.

IMO, that’s been the plan all along.

RJ does not play special teams. So you’re going to get

1) Pollard
2) Davis
3) Deuce (Special teams)
4) Dowdle ( Special teams)
5) Leupke (Special teams)

I think a lot of people forget that Dowdle was Davis before the injuries. Tough runner, showed flashes. Just has always been injured. He was also one of our best special teamers when active.

He allows you to move on from a guy like Goodwin, Joseph etc.
