If you get a B from picking up three first round grade talents in the draft/rookie free agency, signing one of the best pass rushers in the league, and locking up a franchise player to a reasonable contract (relative to his talent and impact), I'd love to see what it takes to get an A.

Choosing not to pay $8 million a year to a player who will never again match his one season wonder only increases the grade in my opinion.

the A will come if we go 11-5 then we regroup and go deep into the playoffs

me think we will drink plenty from the furry cup off victory!

I don't know... this thread is kind of creepy. A little like a clown. Sorta funny but a whole lot of scary.

Would have given him an A myself if they had done a better job addressing running back and cornerback in the draft and in free agency.

Ifo Ekpre Olomu, Charles Tillman, Antonio Cromartie, all easily available to stabilize the cornerback position.

At running back, they could have gotten CJ Spiller or Ingram.

Failing to spend resources on players that wouldn't be materially more productive than the players on the roster is a positive in my mind, though.

I say you spend big time on offensive triplets.
In days off yore it was Troy, Irvin and Emmit.

It should half come to pass that we gift Murray a offer that would make him stay and gift him incentives. Thus Tony, Dez and Murray.
IT DID NOT COME TO PAST and I get it and we half to moon on. I just do not understand when some take unnecessary potshots at a good young mans like Murray.

CJ is similar in style to DMC and also injury prone, Ingram is also like Murray but is also injury prone. Yes they are slightly more proven than our stable but adding either one would not have made the injury bug any less prominent.

It wouldn't have made the injury bug less prominent, but even as you said, would have brought more stability to our depth chart.

Obvously the BB in the title ist a typo.

MODS! would ya help an old altah boy and correct?!
I'd extend an A for the inclusion of The Exorcist quote but the OP receives an automatic I for incomplete due to...

Why did you not include a seasonal result as a condition in your OP? We're not mind readers, you know. Theogt's reply was pretty darn good. Please submit a one-page, double-spaced paper explaining your shifting goal posts by noon tomorrow. And don't use the annual Farmers Branch Apple Cider Guzzling Festival as an excuse to skip out on your assignment this time, you old AA meeting dodger, you.

Deer nonsensical respondent: What you talkin' about Willis?
Right now Jerra deserve a B. If we go 11-5 then a A for Apparent Achiefment Accolade.
Dont come to Farmers Branch right now, they is all in a bad mood for taking down the Confederite banners from the beer halls. I think they is planning a putsch to restore them, those goofball people.

That's a big no 10-4, good buddy. Your OP starts with, "Training camp is seen on the horizon; going in I give Jerry a solid B". Theogt replied with his opinion, which was strongly persuasive in its context. His opinion was based in the here-and-now, just like your opinion.

You sly dog you. Attempting the old, "You know what I meant to say so say what I want" switcher-roo. Now excuse me as I contact the Farmers Branch Overlord Committee. Your misdeeds must be reported to the proper authorities so that you may be immediately deported to Abilene. Or El Paso. I don't know. It's one of those cities. Pack warmly. Both are chilly this time of year.

Dear respondant: to say that Jerra deserve a B so far but he could earn a A if we go 11-5 is not too big a thing to contemplate. Just go with the flow and be happy.
(Speaking of happiness (i am sure this will interest you), be sure to visit FB for its annual "Fear the Mullett" festival next month where mulletts are judged as longest, most retro, most futuristic, most greasy and most dense as well as Most Complex Mullett. Also a children's division and a infant contest. No one from Weatherford is admitted as they half perfected the mullett and would be unfair to regular people who want to win the Mullett of Mull top prize.)

Or be happy that people complied perfectly as the OP intended. Hooray for Hollywood! blah blah blah Hollywood! The festival sounds great but I've kept things practically Jordan-ness for 25-plus years. I could let my hair grow out and attend this year... Nah. I like scaring children, dogs, cats, Chunk from The Goonies...

This offseason is a solid A.

I don't think it was possible for us to do any better than we did outside of landing a bigtime D Tackle or firing Garrett.

Jerry and company deserve an A- to A. They made several good moves and executed per their plan.

I'm not sold on Ifo at the next level. Loved his heart and play at the college level. He is recovering from a serious injury. I watched every game he played at Oregon and I think he is a PI waiting to happen. I do agree he has the ability to be a playmaker.

For a late round draft pick, I think he was a no brainer.
