Training Camp Photos (Monday morning)

Looks like it went off his hands. A little high is my guess.
I thought the ball is still arriving from the top left of the picture and he is going up high to get it.

But look at the fans in the background, they are all looking to the right. My guess is that is where the ball came from.

I could be wrong though. I think it happened once before. :D

Guess it depends on how you see it. I see it as the ball came in high from the right and tipped off his hands as he went up to get it.

If the ball came in from the left, I can see what you are saying.
The ball has to be coming from the left. Key's body language would look completely different if the play is coming from our right.

edit: This was actually a rip on my buddy hostile that needed more clarification after review.

Based on the position of the ball, no way that ends up a catch. Looks like the ball will hit him in the right shoulder blade. The jump looks unnecessary.

Key isn't jumping. He is keeping his toes planted and extending.

Remember, it's a 2D image so we can't tell how far out of bounds it is landing.

His hands have crossed like he tried to get the ball but couldn't hold on.

His head is not angled to see the ball.

The ball is pointed down. It would either be short, a duck or wobbling after hitting the receivers hands.

First, I'm a photographer, so I know how to read an image.

Second, we can not see the ground in the foreground, BUT check out the official and the player in the back ground. The bottom of the photo cuts their legs off. Being that they are farther away from the camera, if Key is on the ground we should see ALL of them. I'd say Key is 2+ feet off the ground.

Sorry Zebra, "you can't tell much from a photograph." :D

BTW, from me, nice call. It is why I want to know if he came down with it or not. Not only is he up there but he would be twisting and looking back over his shoulder to make the catch.

I bet Dale can settle this.

Keyshawn didn't make the catch. It was high and bounced off his fingertips.

So the ball in the upper left is the ball bouncing away from him?

Was he jumping?

Yes, he jumped. And yes, that's the ball.

So the pass came from off camera right and this is snapped AFTER the ball was incomplete.

Thanks Dale.
