There may be a cost for parking, but not for admission to the practice. My daughter and I went a few years ago in Oxnard and had a really good time. We got lots of player autographs and Jerry Jones' too.

There are two fields they practice on. The fan area is located at the side of one of the fields. When they practice on that field you have a pretty good view of whats happening. When they practice on the far field it's more difficult to see. Take some water balloons to throw at Rowdy for me. Just kidding.

I'm actually going to go out there this summer with another Cowboy fan to check it out for a day or 2...I meant to go when they were in Oxnard the last time but I was on vacation at the time.

Lot to look forward to for the camps...I'll take pics and post 'em.

I'm going to try to go. I'm for sure going to the San Diego preseason game. Moved form Amarillo to Bakersfield last year so it's pretty close for me. My son is 10 now and plays football himself (with me coaching of course) so he will really enjoy it.

How about dates? Are they going to have a kick-off event like last year?

I don't think the final dates are public yet. Should have it up a month or so away from camp opening.

Autographs are pretty good. When they were in Oxnard they used to open an area of the fence line for kids to get autographs when the players were heading out to the field before practice. Its a hit or miss, some guys want to sign after practice.

Best way to do it is, but it requires patience, you just get there early and get on the fence line closest to the area where players enter and exit the field. The guys are usually pretty good about signing, but be prepared to get mobbed as soon as they start signing, especially guys like TO, Romo and the big stars.

$5 parking fee. No entrance fee.
Excellent atmosphere, good to be so close to the players. Some hang around, some don't. Good memories of TO and Larry Allen coming over to give autographs. Jerry always greets the fans. BP never did, nior did Bledsoe!!

Great experience, I've been the last 2 years in Oxnard, hopefully there again this summer.

Bonus - the pacific coast is great around Oxnard- acres of clean, empty beach space.
