I have stayed at the holiday inn and Gaylord when I go. Also Airbnb some spots right next to the stadium. I am going to the season opener this year but changed it up and got a place downtown Dallas to experience it a little different this time.

PS for ppl who say they won’t spend a dollar at Jerry World. Do you understand how many people are employed by this man just in the stadium and how many families he is impacting. I understand as a GM he sucks but he does do a lot of good as an owner. I never understood that rationality when people throw that out there when someone asked for recommendations.

Hey Everyone,

I wanted to reach out here as I am planning a trip to Jerry's world for the Thanksgiving game against the giants. I wanted advice on if it makes more sense to get an all in one package that includes air fare, hotel and tickets. Or to get them all separately?

Also. IF you can suggest some fun things to do in Arlington that would be great. I am flying in from Toronto
Texas Live one night, Stadluim tour, Star tour, Mavs or stars game if you want, my favorite hotel is the omni which has a nice set up of restaurants and a sports bar, just to name a few then you gotta get some good BBQ there if ur into that.

Thanks my cowboy brother. It will be my first time at a game in Texas and also my first experience with American thanksgiving. (For you just thanksgiving) lol. I’m Canadian so our thanksgiving is a month prior. I’m certainly looking forward to it.

Im not sure, I would think they stay at the hotel at live but not sure. I actually ran into Diggs mom back in 19 when we played vikings at omni. Just like omnis set up, nice big sports bar, bobs steakhouse one of top 3 steak houses in Dallas, mexican place rooftop pool and hot tub just a nice layout and away from the downtown trash.......Not that the downtown is anything scary, you just see some junkies and stuff if your near the stations......doesnt bother or scare me cause I grew up northern NJ seen anything and everything but for somebody else might bother them. Pecan Lodge for BBQ was really good, if you go out to do star visit there was another place on the way to the star, think it was cattlelack bbq but they are only open 2-3 days a week, thurs - sat i think. Enjoy the game, Ive been contemplating on going to that one too.

I go to 2-4 games a year and Im from Ca. I never have done one of those package deals. Since I do several games a year, I need to keep costs down. Im flying to socal round trip for about 60 bucks. Look on ticpick for aftermarket tickets with "No Fees." I look at several sites though and decide what is best. They are all roughly the same and they control the prices... its a scam, but its all we got. I personally stay at the entertainment district Arlington Courtyard Marriott. I can walk to the game, dont have to pay for parking, and when game is over we will have had an order of Hooter Chicken wings waiting for us when we get back. I also avoid all tat traffic. It is, IMO, the absolute best place to stay for games.

Since you are doing Thanksgiving.. cant say there will be much to do. There are a couple of places to get drinks, including Texas Live which is always fun, but it is pricey.

Ill be glad to help you if you have any questions. As of today we are doing the season opener(Family tradition now for about 10 years), Lions game and Rams game in SoCal.

Air bnb might be cheaper for accommodations. Tickets buy online way in advance bro.

You going alone?
