You realize that 85% of teams in this league consider us "privileged" right? We are NFL royalty along with the Packers, Steelers, Pats.
They can consider anything they like. We are privileged when it comes to playing on national tv. The refs are another story. Have them Show me calls that outrageously bad. To save you time. They can't so don't bother them.

There is an inherent bias regarding the Cowboys because we are viewed this way. I'm taking about refs and privilege. The Stealers are in 3 of the top 10 "questionable calls" on NFL network top 10 of all time.
There is something to this. IMO

Did the home team get any drive killing offensive holding calls? That's what stands out to me. It's understandable that some officiating crews call offensive holding more than others, but when they only call it on one team then something is up. Call it home field advantage or bias or whatever you want, but the Steelers were holding a lot. That sack on Dak was a low tackle too, bastids.

The officiating was poor but just to be fair............. on Elliott's long TD catch, we had an illegal man downfield and it was pretty obvious. Leary (I think it was him) was 5 yards down field before Elliott even caught the ball. So we got some gifts too.
That was a close call, if you're correct, the ones cited like the Beasley face mask or Martin text book pancake block weren't close at all At all. That's the point. Of course calls go both ways. Some are unexplainably poor and it's hard to believe they judged it that poorly.

The Martin holding call was ludicrous. I even thought one of the Leary holds was iffy, at best. But then they miss the Dunbar molestation. I think Dunbar is going to need psychological therapy after that.

Funny how Troy wanted all of the calls against Dallas, but against Pittsburgh? Mums the word.

Seriously, I find myself muting Troy more and more........I enjoy the games more when he and Joey aren't doing the announcing. jmo.

I'll agree wholeheartedly with anyone that says that refereeing is crap.

But I don't want to hear about any conspiracy theories about the league/refs being biased against Dallas. You can't claim that and then sit there and watch them flag Pittsburgh on the final drive for a facemask. If they were out to get us, they wouldn't have called it point-blank.
Well they can't just ignore two in a row. Even bias has its limits or it move past ridiculously poor to the blatant cheating category.

Can Joe Buck just go back to baseball.

He's not even good at that.

Part of it is the landscape of sports broadcasting. The producers are more interested in 'making a great call' than they are at actually announcing a game.

The biggest abomination was Buck calling the US Open. I didn't think it was possible to be so ill-prepared for golf announcing like Buck was. FOX should have been embarrassed that they pay him so much.

Enough already. Ive been a football coach for 29 years and the one thing that aggravates me the most is people crying about the officials, especially at the upper levels. I can see incompetent or fixed refs in middle school or even high school but at this level? Enough. Enjoy the win and move on, talk about all the positives tonight. Sorry, just my opinion.
You're entitled to that. Others are also entitled to point out blatant bad calls.

Your assertion that a clear and unambiguous penalty called against Pittsburgh on the final drive (penultimate, actually) is proof of the refs' lack of bias, is .....nonsensical - Especially after the refs ignored a more agregious version of that same penalty two plays prior. By your logic, if any call was made against Pittsburgh on that last (2nd to last) series, it would prove that the officials had been unbiased throughout the game.

Yes at one point someone said...and I will paraphrase...You could call holding on almost any play in the NFL...Of course none were called on the steelers.

The most irritating thing to me were the holding calls on the running plays. Those were blocks that happen every play in the interior of the line and we have not been called for holding much at all this year and yet somehow today we are holding more. If you are going to call holding like that then you better call it both ways. The block downfield by the Pitts Olineman on Bells catch was blatant.

And while Buck and Aikman are irritating. Dick Stcokton is pathetic. You would think he had never watched football. He says some of the stupidest stuff.

There is no bias. If there was bias than the Cowboys don't win that Lions playoff game two years ago, for example.

It's just bad and inconsistent refereeing across the league. It's embarrassing that there are grown men that actually think the league and referees have a bias against the Cowboys and conspire to try to help them lose.

I was sitting next to a Steelers fan just SHOUTING at the officials virtually all game and how horrible they were. Even he was agreeing with me...some of the time

Not only were there so many obvious missed calls, but WTH was up with the 2 flags they picked up????

1. Did anyone get the explanation on the flag they picked up on Brandon Carr's INT return on the 2PT conversion???

2. The dumb ref threw a flag for 12 men in the huddle on Pittsburgh when they actually never huddled!!!

I think that has to do with the way they cover that rule with hurry up offenses.
Once they set up and then sub late It leaves the defense at a disadvantage.

I believe they had it right but picked it up.

Do you prominse? I'll still reserve my right to my opinion and I'm fairly confident there is some sort of bias. There were too many outrageous calls missed and too many bad calls against us. There is no way they miss Beasley's head being spun in a circle. Also no way we get the touchdown when he was "going to the ground" in the first half. We've seen that before so there is two clear cut examples to point to as evidence.

Ok. Let's discuss the Detroit play once again. There may have been a hold early. That wasn't called. Then their TE grabbed Hichens by the mask and held on until Hichens smack his hand away. That was the only contact during the pass. So I don't think that's an example of us getting a break.
