Actually, there's not as many teams as you think kicking themselves for passing on JJ Watt.

Yeah, there were some good players taken early that year. A few did miss though... Tenn and Jacksonville are still kicking themselves. Particularly Jax because they traded up for Gabbert, lol.

Plus, Washington traded back instead of taking him. Kerrigan is ok... but he isn't in Watt's or Smith's neighborhood.

I disagree with every sentence in this statement.

The idea that Frederick is a stronger or better run blocker than Tyron has nothing to do with strength and everything to do with position and build.

Precisely my good man.

It's simple physics/common sense. There's less distance to move the weight.

The distance the bar had to mo e is not a significant part of the issue. The primary issue is that it is inverse leverage. In a standard lever/fulcrum example, the longer the lever, the more mechanical advantage that is obtained. With inverse leverage, more power is required as the lever gets longer.
