I agree dude, it is frustrating as hell to "act" like we even try to cover the OL. We have money NOW and we don't pick up expensive "types" bc, what do they show over Arkin? The Dallas PR has worked over the fans great in this arena. It is all or nothing...We could sign dudes right NOW that may help but do not you dare question JJ's ability to find OL talent? This isn't JJ's $ it is EGO if you haven't got that part other eager repliers

Yeah, I know we struggle evaluating OL but we can't just give up at it. I remember Jimmy Johnson saying the reason why he tried to stockpile picks is he knew that no matter how strong the scouting and how smart he thought he was evaluating the talent he knew he was going to miss on a lot of picks. He wanted more at bats to hit that home run. That's what I would do if I'm the Cowboys. Over draft those positions if at all possible. I think we're at the point now in Romo's career where we have to really get aggressive to give him the supporting cast he needs to be a serious contender.

I'll tell ya, if this Cowboys core does win a Super Bowl I think my prevailing emotion with be one of relief for Romo. That he didn't have to go down as some fictional choke artist. People would now have to respect how good this guy has been over his career. All his numbers would have meaning then.

Frederick and Smith are the cornerstones of the line. The Cowboys just need to finish the job and have a top notch offensive line.

Two outstanding cornerstones too. You'd be hard pressed to find a better twosome to build around when you consider talent, position and age.

Honestly, Sarge...I couldn't understand why Frederick wasn't a higher rated prospect. I immediately put him in the bottom of the 1st round when he declared. With his skill set, smarts and the OL factory he was coming out of. Some of these draftniks were just way off putting him in the middle rounds.
