Travis Frederick having shoulder evaluated

Yeah, I don't think you could put Williams and Looney beside each other and have a successful season. I think you would have to move Lael back to G and put Fleming at RT.

And put Martin at C, I'm assuming thats where you were going with that?

No, I was probably leaving Looney at C and Collins not starting. I don't trust Collins yet but him being between Tyron and Frederick made it Ok.

Apparently his shoulder has been giving him issues for awhile now during camp. Well why wasn't he shut down for a week or two when the shoulder problem began?

Specifically talking ab stingers.. people would be amazed at how often these guys get these sharp pains. In terms of why they didn’t ‘shut him down’.. prob bc the first few isn’t unusual, not to mention, Travis is like Witten in that he dosent want to come off the field. The FO has giving him a couple ‘Vet’ days off, but to have reoccurring stingers a few weeks in could indicate a nerve issue. Unfortunately, there’s typically not much that can be done ab it other than rest. What we better hope isn’t the case, is that the stringers are an underline problem like a mild shoulder separation or back concern. Fingers crossed that he just needs to rest.

Based on passed injuries I'm not going to buy into what the coaching staff believes the diagnoses is. I remember times where Romo had a "Stinger" in his back according to JG and then the next day you find our he's going on IR or missing 8 games. Same with Dez and his foot a few years ago. Coaching staff says it's nothing serious and will miss a game or two. Ended up missing like 6 or so. I really hope this shoulder "stinger" doesn't turn out those

Looney has been playing very well this year in camp. He's no Freddy but solid. If Freddy sits for awhile, Looney will get the majority of the reps and should be ready to fill in when necessary.

So the rookie 2nd round pick, drafted specifically for that position can't play unless he has a pro bowl player on both sides of him? To make up for this they have to change 3 line positions instead of use the guy they resigned just to be the the backup to the position where the injury occured. Huh!
