Good example of the value of a trade down.
We got both Frederick and Williams for our 1st round pick just by understanding value-based drafting.
I'm assuming Will McClay deserves some credit there, but probably a group effort.

Not that I. Blame SF for making the trade. They wanted Eric Reed there and got the now Pro Bowl safety.

yeah, lots of people did. We got beat up pretty good for that move.

As much as it has paid off, I just want to keep drafting Oline and Dline.....every year we should draft an OL or DL in the first 2....

Thats what the pats do. with the occasional CB, they usually draft line men.

i hope we get a chance to trade down again this year.

And people said he was drafted too high. Lmao.

I was one of a handful of guys on here that thought he'd be a 10 years starter. I watched him closely at UW and he just dominated. He also dominated against my alma mater. (Michigan State) We've had some very good defensive squads the last 5 years or so, and some solid D. Lines. TFred was a rock though...just couldn't get anything going against him. He and Martin have been heaven sent. Along with Smith, they're going to extend Romo's career IMO.

Reid is good but he is not a once in a lifetime safety like Ed Reed or Polamalu.

Do they change the sign every time a baby is born or someone passes away?

and i had to go be born in austin, tx. where getting your name on a sign usually means that while you've done some great things to get there, you've died now.

When your hometown population is 1549 and you're the starting center of the Dallas Cowboys, you're very special.

I went to Michigan State as well, graduated in 1995. Do you still live in Michigan?
