Weren't you the one who unequivocally stated that big safeties who could not cover were now extinct in the NFL, according to Bill Belichick. Which is what you based your unrelenting slander against Chung (or was the "Chungy"?). Yet that very same Bill Belichick ended up drafting the very player you swore was TRASH. You were informed that the Patriots were very interested in Chung yet you ignored this and continued to defame him on these boards. You still continue to mock Veikune even though he was drafted before Sidbury. How about Beckwith, then Ellerbe, over Williams? At one time you were saying Williams was too small to play LB, that he looked like a safety. We could go on and on, but it is a complete waste of time.

I like Travis a lot. He was a joy to watch in college. That being said, he was always hurt even when he was 20, 21 years old. Chronically injured. I hate to say it, but I would pass.

The facts are, Jerry already tried to bring him in, but when Laboy heard he would have to compete against Buehler, he got scared and refused to come. That is the third vet player that would not come to Dallas because they are afraid of Buehler.

As for my mocks with Veikune going in the 4th, I always clarified that I didn't think he would still be there but he would be great value there. You might have seen that if you didn't have your nose so far up in the air or if you were more media savvy instead of so media wannabe.

He needs his own thread. LaBoy was a walk on to the Hawaii program and finished as the WAC DPOY. He was drafted in the 2nd by the Titans. He is only 27 but he has been battling injuries his entire career in the NFL. His style of balls to wall play on every snap appears to be hard on his body. But as a pass rush specialist he could rotate w/Spencer and be kept fresher.



The guy ran 4.6 40 and pressed 225, 35 times. Strong, fast and extremely intense. He can be unblockable at times. NFL knock is that he is soft agains the run, but I watched his entire career at Hawaii, he is very tough against the run, but he plays so violently and physically that he tends to wear his body out. When healthy he is a beast, even on the strongside.


He is the perfect replacement for Ellis, younger hungrier but still a vet and proven pass rusher. More importantly, he is more economical.
