We can talk about all the weapons we wish we had, the skilled players, a better QB, a better pass rusher. NONE of this means anything without the help from some big nasty mean guys. These are the guys that get in there and do the dirty work that we need so bad, but it seems like this position is overlooked every off season. We've made strides in picking up OL guys, but we have to better evaluate players, or leave them at the position they played at in college.

On offense and defense, how much would Dak be, or Micah be if we had some guys that could bully people around. The success of this team is dependent upon us building up our trenches, and doing everything possible to allocate resources/PROPER evaluations to make this happen. Please give your thoughts on this
trenches is the key to building any football team. you can't create holes, protect the QB, then you are screwed. you can't stop the run, create pass rush up the middle, then you are screwed.

And in Band Camp where there was no NFL Cap and Jerry purchased the BEST NFL players we still managed to turn the ball over 3 times to lose in the end.

Now 5 4 3 2 ............1 wake up man wake up!!!!

Trenches first always, Coog, good thread. For me, I want the focus to be on the DL moving forward into the offseason. Playing time for Kneeland and Mazi is important. CZ draft guys say DL is loaded for the draft, good news...stack DL picks like they rebuilt the OL last draft.

Speaking of OL, keep playing these young guys and find out about Waletzko if you think Steele is on the way out. I'm more into developing the guys they have instead of drafting premium OL for another draft. If Richards can play LT then Guyton n Waletzko need to be in competition at RT. Can Bass fill in at RG would be the only question left.

Was hoping someone would appreciate it, you're clearly a man of good taste, but I caution not to give me too much praise, they may get jealous! Anyways, I agree, stockpile this team up with depth and guys that can help us tremendously during the season

Good grief.
put down your rose colored Homer glasses. They have not proven that they will be quality starters.
They have flashed talent but that is all
PROOF to me is starting multiple games and at the very least holding their own against other quality starters
They had NOT done that

GM Jethro refuses to comprehend this.
