Trent Dilfer as OC...?

...if JG screws up this year and is asked to take a hike I would love to see this guy considered for the position unless we get a new coach with an offensive mindset (Like Shanny or Holmgren)

Matt Millen was/is an unbelievable analyst, so much so that the Lions made him GM. That did not turn out so well.

I think that Trent has found his calling and should stick with it.

He was able to do this with a defense that may have been the greatest of all time. Many times Dilfer didn't practice what he preaches now as an analyst. If he was on any other team he would be the rex grossman of the era.
