Trent Dilfer is Great

Dilfer applauded the Cowboys for their effort today, and said they used the bye week to their advantage. He even resisted the pressure by Linda Cohn and Neal Anderson (or is it Everette?) to speak uneccesarily negative.

Linda Cohn: "Dont you think it had a lot to do with the bye week?"

Dilfer: "Give credit where it is due, the coaches had the team prepared, came out and admitted it was a big game, and executed"

Anderson: "Dont you think this is the Cowboys ceiling?"

Dilfer: "Maybe, but I see alot of potential. I get it, everyone likes to bang on the Cowboys when they fail, and then dismiss it when they do well, but you have to give credit where it is due"

...and on a separate note look at you with the Clemson sig! Great win for your boys Saturday! Must say typical Clemson! Now try not to lose to a State or UNC.

My Tigers are going to lose to the school I go to this week, CCU!:

Its funny... living in NY I have this "form response" when a anti-Cowboy fan rants on and on. I just say... yes, yes, I know, when we win we were lucky and when we lose we were supposed to, RIGHT?

They stop and think about it for a second. Then laugh. :laugh1:

Well, you know, I love me some Tigers. They are a heartbreaker of a team to watch, in football and basketball.

sounds like linda cohn blew it.

Then again, if anyone has been paying attention to all the nonsense that came out from espn this week, you would know it happens to be a favorite past time of hers.

I'm a Linda Cohn fan.

Dilfer is quietly becoming one of the better guys to listen to cause at least he'll be more open and honest. I like that about him. I still prefer all my pregame and postgame football from Fox.

Wingo is a Cowboys fan. Not guessing. I know it for a fact.

I like him better already.

She is the biggest giant homer, that hates the Cowboys. This is what I think of her:espn: and her team:giants: .

Marcellus Wiley always gives us props as well on ESPN. But it's great to hear that from Trent.

He's probably flirting with getting fired at :espn:

I doubt they can handle the honesty.

I said as much in another post. He is becoming my favorite but I don't know how long he can keep this up. Hopefully, he will end up on the NFL network.

I don't want props for the sake of giving props. I just want honest reporting and not fabricated controversies.

Dilfer has been critical in the past but more importantly when it is warranted, he has given us props.

That's why when he's criticized the Cowboys in the past I actually listened to what he had to say. He gives his honest opinion.
