Dilfer would never put down a QB... I love Romo but he will never win Super Bowls... its not in his makeup! The last 2 years have proved that...

Personally, I think Dilfer is going to make a pretty darn good booth guy when he decides to hang em up...I read a lot about how great a lockerroom guy he is and teammates, especially QBs love him.

Nice praise from a guy who I enjoy who pontificates

This guy (Dilfer) is solid - he has a bright future. I respect his opinion a lot. He's right on Romo, it's always been there back to preseason in Rookie year if you really watch what he does.

He's at the maturation process where he has to get past aw shucks in playoffs and get an attitude and start winning the big games.

You don't build a team around a WR anyway, even if he is Jerry Rice in his prime. If you build a team around an individual player then it is the QB and no one else. You can build a team around a LB corps or secondary, O-Line, or front-4 but the only individual player you build around is the QB.

The Cowboys of the early 90s built their team around Troy Aikman, not Emmitt or Michael. This team will be built around Tony Romo and it will be a contender for a long time to come.

Exactly!
Its common sense. The QB is just about the only player in the whole game that(touches the ball and) is involved with EVERY offensive play(besides center);)

History cannot prove the future. Peyton had your theme going for a while. He won. If you are just going on cliche's then enjoy. "History repeats itself"

Nothing is certain. The future is unwritten.
