Trevon Diggs going through his first week of weight bearing activities

One year? He played what, 3 or 4 before he got his contract extension.

Agree Jerry gets fooled often, but don't make it out like Diggs did not play well, but 1 year.
He’s a 1 year wonder.

Avoids contact like the plague, gives up a ton of yards, stays hurt, and outside of 1 season never gotten more than 3 INTs.

And to be fair, he did apologize. But here's another thing, will he even be available by like week 5? So I'm questioning everything at CB, not just him. This is that time to evaluate the CB room, not just him. Josh Butler is a guy that has me excited. I thought he was our best db outside of Lewis last year. I want him to get a shot again . But again, he had a bad injury happen. Bland was injured. My Lord, more I look at the db room, it's a mess. We need 2 more high end guys either from free agency or the draft. This is why I'm looking deeper at the Diggs situation.
yeah i'm not too confident in our secondary, and have no idea what to expect from diggs moving forward. was only commenting on the outburst w/ the reporter and how i feel like it's not much to extrapolate from (personally)

Bro played us hard. This one is on us. All the signs were there we chose to ignore them.

And this is why fans are couch GM's, and not real GM's.
Oh, many think they can do it, but can they. Some have very good ideas, but that is what thy are, things they want the team to do.
Sounds good in theory. But fans do not know all the intricacies of running a team.

Yes, our GM is not all that great, but it is easy to say, oh cut this player, cut that player, sign this guy, he will only cost you $25 million but is not that difference maker, but I like the player.
When Jerry said anyone could coach that team to a Super Bowl to Jimmy in the 90's, I am saying anyone could GM the Cowboys to Jerry in 2025.

That is how bad GM Jethro is as a GM.

The whole FO building plan is screwed if Diggs get hurts, Mazi cant elevate, Bland is not what they thought, overshown cant stay on the field..I mean this FO's plan has been and still is dumb and lazy...

personally i put the 2 years of knee issues on the strength and conditioning staff. The ACL not their fault but for some reason their regiment always seems to mess up the guys either they rush them back,or give them crappy exercises to do or something, Gallup now Diggs
His knee is bone on bone.

How are you better with someone that can't stay on the field? Like l said, l like Diggs, but the money for him could be better spent at this point. It's not personal. It's business. This team is still a couple years away.
I would add that my worry is at what LEVEL he will be capable of reaching when he gets to 100%......is it even the same player?

So fans will just as bad if not worse then.
Well, it won’t hurt to try something or someone different.
Let’s appoint a different member on here as designated GM each year until we win the SB.
If one gets to the NFCCG the get a 2nd year.

It's crazy how that changes so quickly. You think back to 2 years ago. We had Diggs, Gilmore, Bland, and Lewis and it looked like a position of strength. Now fast forward and there's uncertainty with the injuries. Carson played well in camp and perhaps he makes strides in year 2, but he clearly wasn't ready to be a big contributor last year. CB will definitely be a need.
Think we saw why Carson dropped the way he did in the draft. He's really raw, not ready yet. I hope to God we fix the secondary.

I think this is all we are wondering. How thick is his skin.. It matters. A guy or gal needs to be able to be humble enough to have an open mind to constructive criticism. That's life in general for all of us, including athletes.
I completely agree. And I think the fact that he apologized shows a degree of humility, though I’m not sure the comment he was referencing was intended as constructive criticism. But whatever the motivation, it was in a moment of high emotion and I’m willing to give the benefit of the doubt.

And while I 100% agree that being humble and open minded are worthy qualities of life for all of us, the personal nature of some of the posts on this site suggests some might want to hold off on throwing stones.

Enjoyed the chat.
