Trevon Diggs had surgery Thursday on his left knee

I hope he’s aggressive in treatment, probably won’t see him until 2026.

Diggs is bad, He should have had this surgery a month or more ago. My son bought me a Diggs jersey at the end of his rookie season. Wish I could burn it. Guy is worthless as a player now.

Why is he just now having surgery? Hasn't he been on IR for almost 2 months?
They will tell you that " the inflammation had to go down" before operating, however it seems that this long term inflammation seems to happen to Cowboys players more than the rest of the NFL teams.

Getting surgery at this point all but guarantees him the latest possible return while he would otherwise be at work

He gets paid either way so for some there's no rush to get back while training camp or the season is going on.......he'll be home playing video games and watching " Martin" while his teammates are working at the facility

Here's Diggs, post surgery, getting ready for hydro-therapy:

We have an out this offseason. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/47646/trevon-diggs

He's not going to be 100% next season so what's the point of keeping him? Heck, he wasn't worth his contract this season when he was healthy.
12 some odd million ain’t much of an out especially when you consider we’re already eating 8.7 for Gallup, almost certainly 7.5 for Lawrence and a possible 26 for Martin. In fact, it would be bordering on just dumb in order to save a measly 2m in the grand scheme of things!

Well, it's that or we can pay him 14M for nothing next year. I'll take the savings.
