At least some sort of a change of pace package. Maybe something for the other team to prepare for opens up the other stuff. Something? Anything?
Change of pace isn’t the issue. They can’t block or run the football. We knew this last season with Pollard and they still got worse lol.

We can't even run the ball consistently and we are going to play gimmick ball? That usually doesn't work out so well....

Trey could be our Taysom Hill in this offense to give it more "juice"
The minute he runs on to the field the Giants are going to know that a run play is coming. They will OVERLOAD there D-Line with their backers and possibly their safeties too. At no point unless there are injuries to both Prescott and Rush should Lance be used in this game.

They would not even need to overload anything.

That takes creativity which Dallas does not possess.
This is so true. I cringe every time McCarthy uses the line about trying to establish a running game. We spend half the game trying to establish a running game with JAGS at RB and fall so far behind that we are then forced to pass every down. If they wanted to establish a running game then they should have signed or drafted a starting caliber RB. This team is now set up where the passing game needs to be established first so then you can get the running game going a little. We are never going to be run first team with the guys we currently have at RB. Unfortunately, our HC/OC is too stupid to realize this and keeps forcing the issue. I would rather go down in flames with them being aggressive from the start of the game with the passing game then die the death of watching 2 and 3 yard runs on 1st and 2nd down.

It means he is "good enough" to play multiple NFL positions, thus saving 1-2 roster spots that can be used for other positions.
It is exactly what it is.
He’s not “good enough” to get on the game day roster and hasn’t been on one since 2022.

I'm thinking more like Kordell Stewart was utilized back in the day. We have got to find a way to get Lance on the field at some point, he is just to electric running the ball much like the Daniels kid!

Been begging for this for two years, but not apparently something they have in mind.

They needed to get creative and this maybe could have been it, but nope.

They would need to keep 3QBs active, but so what. Do you really need a village of dudes to cover the weirdo kickoffs these days?
Good point. Aubrey can just kick it out of the endzone and no need for coverage to even run down the field.

It also takes a player who can do those things and is willing to go out a be a lead blocker. Running the ball as a QB with open space in front of you and runnjng from the backfield is a lot different
