Is that supposed to be some kind of revelation?

Of course I would. Dak will forever be a loser on the field. Give me something fresh and new.

Also, a little pet peeve of mine. It’s “couldn’t care less” not “could care less”.
I don’t care about your pet peeves you just come here to stir things up with your down with Dak agenda. Of course you don’t care if a QB can’t play. You would rather watch the team lose. You would disappear if the team was having playoff success.

But “could care less” makes no sense.

Think about it.

How much less could I care? What? lol

I watch the team lose WITH Dak too. He’s won nothing. Does losing with Dak make you more comfortable than losing with someone else?

We. Want. Anybody. But. Dak.

That’s what I meant.
Jerry's not going to pay Dak all that money to ride the bench. You are going to get Dak shoved down your throat for at least one more year. And don't be surprised if Dumb and Dumber (Jones' boys) foolishly extend him in the future for $50 million plus a year. They have created this issue by letting Dak back them into a corner on the last contract and they are letting him back them into a corner again by not acquiring real competition at the QB position. Those two idiots are the worst at bluffing. I wouldn't be surprised if Dak and his agent take them behind the woodshed again and give them a another good beating.

They won’t extend him.

They would’ve already done it.

Jerry got burnt on the first deal. He knows it. He won’t get burnt again.

I want Lance to be successful and I’m rooting for him, but I can’t be the only one wondering why the big PR push that’s happening.

I will be thrilled if they cut or trade that noodle arm Rush.

I gotta disagree. Rush is a smart QB who can get you wins as a backup. I think he’s the perfect fit for a QB. I might be alone in hoping we still keep him as QB3 if Lance takes the job as QB2. Rush will never be a full time starter because he lacks physical ability, but he can get you wins.

Because he’s going to be the QB soon and Dak is done after this season.

Every move the Cowboys have done this offseason screams moving on from Dak.

A few of us here have predicted this since the Green Bay collapse.

Jordan Love and the Packers put a firm expiration date on Dak’s time with the Cowboys.

You make no sense and eventually you and your partner in crime will wear out your welcome here. You would prefer watching the team lose double digit games every season rather than have a chance in the playoffs. The only positive with Dak moving on is you and your partner in crime will move on.

I think it’s too early to start this PR campaign right now. There is zero reason for it. If Dak is done after the season it would make way more sense to talk during TC and PS. Right now they’re setting expectations which can lead to failure and disappointment. Like I said I think it’s odd to have this PR push right now for Lance, JMO.

He gonna start in Dallas soon.

They didn’t make the trade just to upgrade QB2.
lol. You are acting like Jerry gave up a 1st round pick for Lance. At the time it was a future 4th which is equivalent to a 5th rounder when the trade was made. Jerry was making a low cost gamble. If they could salvage Lance's career then they would have someone maybe to take Dak's job or trade for better draft capital. Right now the trade doesn't look good. They announced he was competing with Rush for the backup job, not Dak's starting job. If he was anywhere near the QB they thought he was then he would have already beat out Rush. Plus he is a free agent next year and the guy (McCarthy) developing him may not even be with the cowboys next year.

What has Dak done in 8 seasons that gives you this “chance in the playoffs” belief in him?

If Lance has a great preseason and the Cowboys go into the Bye Week 2-4 with Dak playing terrible then oh boy….

You think the PR push (that Jerry’s is probably behind) is bad now…

I’m not disagreeing with that.

But why is he doing the PR thing now in May. Like I said it just feels strange at this point.

Probably to garner excitement from fans that have already tuned out because Daks still here currently.

The PR is their way of saying “a new one is on the way” hoping fans won’t completely give up.

Trey talks about QB2 battle, and how he has learned over the past year. And how things are different between Dallas and SF.

"Lance has grown close with Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and other players on the team as he gets settled into Dallas and settled into a shot at rewriting what his underperforming career has been to this point. With just two months sitting between now and Lance taking the field at training camp to begin that rewrite, he feels he's at the best he's been in his NFL career."

Sounds like Dak is taking him under his wings. This is what I am looking forward to the most in TC and the PS games.
Get ready for Trey to be QB1 as Dakko aint finishing the upcoming non-Doggy season.

I need to screenshot this, I feel the same way!! Yes we're going to see him this season bar none. In the back of my mind I swear I can see it and it's going to burn me up that they're going to extend him to some crazy deal, I know it's coming!!!!!!!
