Heck, I'm thrilled. We should all chip in and pay it.
Hell no. He's making 5 mil this season, he can pay the damn thing himself. $22k to him would be like us reaching into our piggy banks for a handful of quarters.

Just for a fun thought it is 0.44% of his income this year. That would be the equivalent of $440 for someone making 100k per year or $220 for someone making only 50k per year.

Plus, pappa Jerry may pay this for him. Tax write-off, lol

The NFL is really becoming unwatchable between the flags on nearly every play and a qb being fined for a hit like this. These ridiculous fines really just makes a player not want to go all out. Why would he? They watered down the league to a nauseating point.

When are you going to be banned for pretending to be a fan, troll?
Even if that were true (and it isn't), Pretending to be a Cowboys fan isn't a ban worthy offense, last I checked.

On the other hand, rule 8 says "you will not personally attack or insult other members"

And rule 10 says "you will not stalk or continually harass other members"

Just thought I'd throw that out there for everyone's consideration in light of your alarmingly frequent posts similar to this one I just quoted

(link) One of those times when the fine amount matches the official fine description, which is not always the case. It was a foul per the rule:

RULE 12 SECTION 2 ARTICLE 10. IMPERMISSIBLE USE OF THE HELMET (link)

It is a foul if a player:

(a) lowers his head and makes forcible contact with his helmet against an opponent; or
(b) uses any part of his helmet or facemask to butt or make forcible contact to an opponent’s head or neck

These provisions do not prohibit incidental contact by the mask or the helmet in the course of a conventional tackle or block on an opponent.

Penalty: Loss of 15 yards. If the foul is by the defense, it is also an automatic first down. The player may be disqualified.

Funny how the league office can review entire games and find infractions like this. However, they sometimes do not clarify something like the supposed 'football move' Jake Ferguson made leading to the fumble, requiring Trey Lance to take out the ballcarrier.

Whatever. I highly doubt Lance has ever tackled that many players to begin with. It is hard enough for defensive players to remember what to do in the moment.

The important thing is not allowing the opposing team to score, regardless what the score is at any given time of the game. It was a good play on Lance's part. Hopefully, he will not be put himself in that position again.
