Do you think the we try to bring Lance along during the offseason and try to get him into the starting lineup for next year? If not week 1 then if DAK struggles throughout the season?

Will we? I doubt it. I think we should draft someone like Bo Nix and have him compete with Trey Lance. This QB draft class is so good that you can find a guy at the end of the 1st who would go top 5 in another year. We’d have two young top 5-potential QBs to e see what they’ve got. If they suck, we’ll likely have another top 5 pick in 2025 to try again. If we keep Dak, it’ll be more of the same.

I don’t think he’s the answer either. But no matter, time to move on from Dak. I said last year not drafting a qb is a failure. It is catastrophic this year and tbh, it likely needs to be day 2 if you can do so even though I prefer a qb drafted in round 1.

It’s obvious we need more players. We had no linebackers. I’m ready to move on from Prescott. I don’t think he’s a choker, but I don’t think his salary matches his playoff performance.

Yes, big changes are needed. Even if we had linebackers I’m not sure if that would’ve helped last night.

Would be prudent to move up and draft a QB also.
If we can go 5-1 with Rush we have nothing to lose cutting ties with the tattoo man.
We have all witnessed Prescott's ceiling back in 2016 and that's all she wrote.

Perfect chance for Jerry to offer Dak $35 mil / year extension. That would give the team lots of salary cap room while still be enough for Dak. Dak is good. Very good, but he needs help. He needs to help the team now. If he refuses, make him a post June 1st cut since he can't be traded due to his no-trade current contract clause.

it might be painful, but the Trey Lance era must begin right now. Cut bait with Dak. See if we can trade him . If I am Jerry, I am working the phones from now til draft day trying to find a dance partner in the top 5. Call New England. Draft a QB. Let Lance compete with him. If we hang on to MM let him teach these guys the nuances of the west coast offense.
