Try him and draft a QB

We have to sign Lamb and Parsons, looks like Dak is out.
Gonna be interesting...Jerry cant sign everyone and DAK will cost over 50mil against the cap next year.....I would even consider...yes consider trading Parsons....

Tough off season decisions
- Dak not worth the 50Mil projection
- CD - Not worth being the highest paid WR in NFL
- Parson - gonna get paid but by who

McCarthy in the last year of his contract. Normally they would do an extension now, so he's not a lame duck. Guess what they won't and thus he will be let go. Jerry is the richest owner in the league. He can hire whomever he wants to.

Green Bay just proved that a wr is easy to find. They have a bunch of guys that they either drafted and developed with mid to low rd picks, or even undrafted. Rams as well with Puka Nucua...and Cooper Kupp. Its nuts paying a kings ransom for a wr when we can do it for much cheaper. Green Bay just ran us out of our own building.

I'd actually do it. Micah seems to be all talk and no action in the biggest key moments. I have seen enough with him. Sell high while we can. Lets go get us a franchise QB.
Yep. We are about to give the guy the richest contract ever for a pass rusher ever. Let him go and draft a top tier QB. Dak stays one more year and then turn it over to the new guy who will be on a rookie contract for 5 years.

Will we? I doubt it. I think we should draft someone like Bo Nix and have him compete with Trey Lance. This QB draft class is so good that you can find a guy at the end of the 1st who would go top 5 in another year. We’d have two young top 5-potential QBs to e see what they’ve got. If they suck, we’ll likely have another top 5 pick in 2025 to try again. If we keep Dak, it’ll be more of the same.
Nix is not great

If Dak is traded, we'll have to throw in some draft picks and/or eat a lot of his cap hit. A trade partner will not take him with his bloated salary without sweeteners.

Best approach is to sweat Dak's salary. Tell him he wont be playing in 2024 - that he's getting no reps so no need to bother turning up. Leave it up to him if he wants to arrange his own trade - if he still believes in himself. Cut Rush. Nothing against him, but he's not the answer and we need to clean out the QB room.

Go with Lance versus a 1st round pick in training camp and a cheap veteran 3rd stringer. Let McCarthy show us how good a coach he is and if he can produce with 1st round talent he chose.

Fire Mccarthy
Get Harbaugh
If Quinn leaves you trade Parsons to him fir 2 1s
Tell Dak he can sit on his *** or be traded and trade him
Pick QB in rd 1
Get DT, C, RB, LB, safety
Trade Parsons to Seattle for Metcalf and a 1

Do you think the we try to bring Lance along during the offseason and try to get him into the starting lineup for next year? If not week 1 then if DAK struggles throughout the season?
I'm with the don't pay 60 million or extend group. Either you have it or you don't choke in the playoffs. It's rare to find a QB that can do that. Certainly there is enough to show that Dak does not. Lance can have a chance and I'm looking at the draft

I would try to to trade Dak (to a team he agrees to and restructure his contract to make it possible). Roll with Trey for 2 - 3 years while you rebuild the team under a new coach...if Trey had the Jordan Love factor great...if not, you have a solid team that you built and you start looking for your next franchise QB (starting in year 2-4).

If they extend Dak it’s over so one would hope that’s that’s the move but I doubt it.

There are 4 team owners richer than Jerry
Doesn't matter because of the salary cap

I can’t wrap my head around the fact that Lance at some point this season couldn’t beat out Rush for QB2. That is worrisome a bit….

ask yourself why did GB sit on Love for 4 years? Nobody, and I mean nobody in the world saw Love coming
He only played 19 games for North Dakota State and 8 for Frisco. If Shanahan couldn’t make him a player, I’m not sure anyone can

They have to make a decision on Lance's 5th year option in less than 4 months right? Obviously they can't do that as it's $25 million. I assume they are hoping he comes back here on a cheap deal rather than go to the open market? I wonder what the odds are that he does this.

Good examples

But then K.C. is a example of not being able to put talent on the field. Maybe its scheme, or the QB...lol
