Fair enough, but the defense is much changed and encouragingly so.

Which is why I started my comment with "so far"....we only have 1 year of data to go off of and in year 1 the results were pretty neutral. They filled a big hole on defense with a massive upgrade and opened up a new hole. But they were 7-10 with Micah and 7-9-1 without him.

How it was a loss for the Cowboys? If we had Micah right now hurt we’d be screwed.

Just depends on when and how he comes back. Some guys with that injury had a bit of a red shirt year, others dont miss a beat. If hes back playing at a high level by week 6 then the injury really isn't a big deal.

But they were 7-10 with Micah and 7-9-1 without him.

So the trade has been pretty much a net neutral in terms of wins....Neither Dallas nor GB has seen better results since the trade.


Honestly if it's a question of do you want Micah or do you want Clark/Q there really isnt a wrong answer. Fairly clean swap either way.

Sack totals are irrelevant. Consistent pressure and forcing turnovers and punts are what matter.

I don’t think there’s any doubt that Dallas ‘won’ the trade.

They’ve got Kenny Clark, Quinnen Williams, and Malachi Lawrence.

Green Bay has a big-cost injured player.

Essentially, Dallas traded Micah and a second round pick for Quinnen Williams, Kenny Clark and and a first time round pick in 2027. (The Jets will get the higher of the two picks, not Dallas retains the other.)

Don’t forget about the 2 - 4th round picks they got from Philly when they traded down and still got Lawrence.
