Comps cannot be traded until they’ve been awarded. That will happen after the season. He's worth more than that so would be a good trade

Well give the regular 5th doesn't matterComps cannot be traded until they’ve been awarded. That will happen after the season.
In this hypothetical, the Cowboys are giving up about 8 points of draft capital to get the 24 tear-old Burks, a former 1st round pick, to compete against Jalen Tolbert for the 3rd WR spot. He either wins or Tolbert steps up, and if they both play well, you have a very sold WR 1 through 4.Who do you think he beats out then if your giving up draft capital?
While interesting and not sure which players you mean, it's irrelevant to this conversation.Meanwhile, "GM Jerry" gave up 76 points of draft capital for two players who did not play a moment of NFL playing time in 2024 and are not looking too promising of playing in 2025 either.
I think Burkes is better than Tolbert but he has a injury problem. jmhoI don’t think Burks is better then Tolbert and Tolbert has been underwhelming.
I don’t typically listen to that Broaddus dude but I happened to during the 2023 draft. In this hypothetical, the Cowboys are giving up about 8 points of draft capital to get the 24 tear-old Burks, a former 1st round pick, to compete against Jalen Tolbert for the 3rd WR spot. This…Burks is a bust. I’d bring him in for dirt cheap but wouldn’t give upI don’t think Burks is better then Tolbert and Tolbert has been underwhelming.
