Combine's can me misleading if a player is off that day.

I am a Hog and watched almost every game he played and every SEC DC and D knew he was the receiving corps. The Hogs have a large running QB and good RB's and one WR. They were so dependent on him, they had to play him when they would have preferred not to and he'd show up. Sam Pittman had no problem with Burks opting out of the bowl game because he'd been their warrior. If not for that one player, they do not have the 9 win season they have.

He is not a finesse WR, he is a physical WR that is very hard to bring down once he gets the ball and those hands are ridiculous, 10.5' 5XL gloves and he's a really good blocker. Better than the TE they tagged.

He reminds me of Dez Bryant

Only concern is that ACL, and he's a bit of a character, but he put up a 4.47 in the combine. He has a tremendous skillset . If he's healthy I think he's the best WR in the draft personally.

I think Pickens will go in the Top 75 but I also think he is one of the few receivers coming out this year that projects as a #1 lead dog. There are receivers ranked ahead of him (ex. Wilson, Olave, Metchie, Burks) I just don’t see that with IMO.

Pickens is pretty sophisticated as a route, knowing how to vary his speed with certain releases. I think he’s a guy that legitimately been hampered by injuries but when he’s been on the field he’s been great.

Hard pass. He’s a mediocre route runner. His athleticism is mediocre as well. When he loses a step it will happen all at once and he’ll be worthless.

Wilson and Williams are the 2 top guys in the class IMO. Williams is tremendous. Dynamic. Came in light at the combine. If he were healthy he’d almost certainly be the top guy off the board. His injury pushes Wilson into that spot. Size really the only question with him. He’s got it all. Hands, route running, speed, and tremendous body control. I’d be all over Pickens in the 2nd round if he’s there.

I'm a big burks fan! The Deebo comps are enough for me. We have been awfully weak in the red zone since Dez. I've made numerous posts on how bad our red zone play is despite consistently moving the ball down the field. Time to get someone who can high point the ball, win the physical battles and help us score TD's. Burks is the guy. It's crazy to think that Dallas trades Cooper but in the end we might upgrade our offense.
