IMHO these changes need to be made in offseason if Dallas fans are ever to see light of day again. In order of priority:

1. Jerry stepping down as GM. Rich Gannon was on ESPN radio last week and mentioned he thinks things have gotten to point that Jerry has to now consider this. He even went as far to say he thinks you could see move here in offseason if things get bad.

2. Tony Romo has to be moved. Regardless if you think he is elite or not one thing is certain - this team doesn't respond to him. Call it leadership, call it bad luck whatever the case he doesn't get the job done. I still think you can get a 2nd round pick for him from Ari or Jets.

3. Another HC switch. This might be bit premature but it appears Jason is over his head as HC. I really liked him and felt we were seeing next HC for next 15 years. The team is still incredibly sloppy, poor time management. I hate this move but its necessary to move forward.

- Jerry Jones isn't stepping down. I don't care how many people suggest he's the problem. If anything I think people questioning him is just going to strengthen his resolve to prove them wrong. The only way he'd step down is he saw his financial bottom league get hurt and that's just not going to happen right now. Even fans like myself who have grown to hate the team still end up giving him money.

- Do think you could see them move on from Romo. If nothing else, Jones loves to sell hope. If Romo keeps playing like this a lot of people are going to lose hope that we can win with him.

- Unless the team quits again, I think Garrett is safe. It's going to take a string of Wade 2010 like beatings to force Jerry's hand. This team doesn't seem to be at the point where they're just going to stop playing...yet.

Wait, so the most important thing is we have to find a real GM.

And then we have to think for that GM by telling him his first moves?

How about this? Hire a real GM and then get out of the way. Your input is no longer needed. Let that guy build the team to his vision. Let him decide whether he needs a new coach and/or QB. You hired him to run the football operations. Let him run it.

I don't see the issue with this. You'd basically have to be a complete lunatic owner to have a problem with it.

Ehhh...I have some bad news for you. Dallas kinda has one of those ^^

The next GM should be:

Baltimore Raven's Assistant General Manager Eric DeCosta ~ said to be Ozzie Newsome's general-manager-in-waiting.

Sadly, though I'm not sure Jerry will fire himself.

It would be awesome if just one of your three points made any sense whatsoever. 1. Who cares what Rich Gannon thinks? My mom thinks I'm good looking. 2. The team didn't respond at all to Romo yesterday? what? They overcame a 23 point deficite. 3. Yeah, it's called rebuilding on the fly. Is Bill Cowher going to come in and spit on everyone? The defense is light years beyond last year. The entire offensive line is new and needs to gel. Blowing it up is the greatest idea ever!! Lets start over again.

Your mom is Rich Gannon? :lmao2: All kidding aside, I think Rich Gannon has a bit more clout when it comes to the NFL than your mom. Just sayin.

First thing a new GM would do is keep Romo and in a few years start to groom a new one. You are not going to throw the baby out with the bath water.

I don't see that happening and even if it did people would be calling the new GM a puppet after his first unpopular move.

Never have been a Romo believer and have thought for awhile that we needed to move on. But at the same time I know this, you can't sell the old milk cow unless you have two things; a buyer to buy the old cow and a new milk cow to take the old ones place.

Changing coaches isn't gong to solve all the problems with this team, if anything it makes some of the problems worse. Garrett will finish out his contract knowing the only way he gets an extension is if he can show that he deserves it.

Jerry does need to step down and Garrett needs to go. Not going to happen, though.

The team didn't respond to Tony Romo? Really? What game were you watching?
