Troy passed in the first half to build up a lead, used Emmitt in the 2nd half to keep it.

Dak can't seem to get to to 100 yards in the first half when the lights are bright.

It shows in the results.
Because Dak Prescott isn't that kind of QB. He needs to be carried by everyone around him. If his throws are off his WR's need to be good about bailing him out. If the defense is confusing him he needs more and more time from the offensive line to figure out where to go with it. He needs a stout run game that can churn up those yards and make the defense one dimensional.

You would think a NFL QB working out a receiver would have a better idea of their ability than a GM that’s never played QB at any level. There’s a reason the Cowboys wanted Aikman to work out David LaFleur prior to the draft. According to Aikman, he thought LaFleur had more upside than Tony Gonzalez.
 You might think that, but few others on planet earth appear to. Otherwise, former NFL QBs would dominate the GM ranks, though for some reason they don't.

He basically said in that clip, you need to be a "bus driver" at times in order to win instead of just sling it around all the time.
"Bus Driver" as a label is just ridiculous for any NFL QB..The Job IS to get the Ball to your playmakers and mkae sure they get where they are suppose too...Every QB is a "Bus Driver" and the best Bus drivers usually end up winning the trophy...

Dang those quarterbacks who would rather take a sack then throw the ball away for those stats.

I’m strictly talking about a QB knowing the ability of a receiver better than a GM. There’s a lot more to being a GM than receiver/player acquisitions.
