Why are you on a message board?

Just watch ex players on TV.

Everytime Belichick loses a game those experts on TV can explain what he should have done. They like played the game at the NFL level and stuff which means they know more than Bill Belichick about football.

Jimmy probably calls Aikman before going on TV for Aikman to explain football stuff to him.

Ex players are also not bogged down thinking about non football stuff considering that their average IQ is far below the national average.
Well, at least you know that last part doesn't apply to Aikman.

Do I?

Aikman had great work ethic and was one of, it not the most accurate QBs in NFL history, but they didn't run a complex offense.
- It was a precise, timing offense, but not complex.
- The precise timing was focused on the 1st read. He didn't have to make difficult reads of the defense.
- When the surrounding players and O-Coordinator were less talented, he struggled in the late Nineties.
- He was the far opposite of the Romo or Staubach ad-lib styles.

If you told me that Staubach, Romo or Tom Brady have higher IQs than average, then I would believe that.
- If Aikman was smart he would have insisted on working with someone other than Joe Buck...

Didn't Aikman develop the current QB rating system, or something like that?

The defense is special enough to carry this team all the way. Dak can manage this offense into wins with this defense's help. Super Bowl or bust!

Without seeing the starters in any form in the preseason, he is giving them the benefit of the doubt, like a lot of us are.

Of course, a lot of analysts gave the Rams that as well and the perception was not that they'd not dropped a lot in talent.......until they saw Miller not on the Rams side and on the Bills' side.

Every analysis is just opinion, I don't care who they are.

One thing for sure, the season is off to a surprising start but as we know, that doesn't really mean a lot.

I'm on this message board so that I can have inside information on how everything works in the organization and understand every single reason why the Cowboys are the worst run team in all of sports. Everything else you're just speaking to the choir my friend. I've already admitted this board is light years ahead of Troy Aikman when it comes to pretty much anything that involves a brown ball and some field goal posts and especially this specific team. The fact that he even pretends to understand the game is laughable. Imagine Troy on this board talking to you, MountACowboy or any other experts we have on this board. Dude would finally learn some things about this game, this team and it's owner. Let's admit it though, he scurrrred. Can't blame him though. Those are some scary grocery store check out clerks that he has no business discussing football with.

And Troy Aikman agrees.

“I don’t feel this team is as good as it was a year ago,” the three-time Super Bowl champ said Thursday of his former club during a call-in with The Ticket KTCK 96.7 FM/1310 AM. “It doesn’t mean that they’re not talented enough to go on and do all the things that they want to do, because I think that they are. I think they’re one of those teams that, as you look at the landscape of the NFL and certainly the NFC, you feel the Cowboys have as good a chance as any of them. So we’ll see how it goes.”

“Even though last year they lost that game,” Aikman said, “I think everybody came out of that game going, ‘Wow, this team has a chance to be pretty good.’ I know I was impressed with what I saw. I’m hopeful that they go out and play at the level that they’re capable of, and if they do that, then I think Tampa has their issues as well. I think they can get off to a really great start.”

Uh, yeah Troy - after watching the Bills last night, we don't stack up very well.
