Troy story

This here's a story 'bout Billy Joe and Bobbie Sue
Two young lovers with nothin' better to do
Than sit around the house, get high, and watch the tube
And here's what happened when they decided to cut loose................................................

Sry.. just popped into my head when I read the title

Yep. Played big when it mattered most. Tough and will to win. Pisses me off when idiots around here try to lessen his accomplishments. Three time champ and Cowboy royalty.
He was a part of the puzzle that made a championship. But some people talk about him like he was the whole puzzle….meanwhile Romo and Dak didn’t play with half of the hall of famers he did but get held to his standard. It’s crazy.

who were the hall of famers before they were hall of famers?

yea, you are trying to compare history with a total different culture and team, both something Romo and Dak could have done but didnt. I like all 3 Qbs, but Romo and Dak dont drill like Aikman did, they dont have the same temperment that Aikman did. You can Hall of Famer this, hall of famer that, but at the time no one knew who teh hall of famers were. That offensive line didnt always have number 1 draft picks at each position like some people believed. Hall of Famers seared this path, they had to burn to accomplish that in eras with litle to no rules.

Never ever compare all 3 of them.

And keep in mind, most fans wont accept what Jerry has done with the franchise, but Dak and Romo never changelled their coaches. And Troy? Troy? had to deal with much more than what either of those two had to deal with.

Yes he was. Aikman could not run and could not take a hit. But the best offensive line and best running back in the league coupled with the best defense in the league, can make a things pretty easy on the quarter back. Not to mention the receivers he was throwing to! Not taking away how good he was, but just to put things in perspective.

Troy was the ultimate leader. And he was so miserable when Barry Switzer was the coach because he had to be the quarterback AND the guy that had to chew out slacking teammates.

Number 8 had no interest in appealing to anyone that was not as committed to winning as he was.

Jimmy brought structure to the 90s Cowboys. Jerry brings structure to Romo and Daks Cowboys. They are not the same. At all.

Agree 100 percent. But if you say any of this you are a hater. The same people will say Hurts is carried but won’t say the same about Aikman.

Dudes constantly apologizing because he's wrong on so many things. Clark is horrible
In his field you are wrong most of the time. He’s one of the few who wil admit it and apologize.

Colin Cowerd said Dak is a tight end and Lamar Jackson was a receiver. Do you think he ever admitted he was wrong? Skip said Troy was gay…did he ever admit he was wrong? Of course not. Apologizing isn’t a weakness.
