So my lovely fiancee' got me to watching this True Blood show on HBO. I tried not to like it as hard as I could. What with every woman in America currently in lust with the Vampire dude from the movie Twilight. But after watching a couple episodes, it has kinda grown on me and actually has become very interesting.

This show may not be for everyone. There are some raunchy sex scene's and there's a lot of f-bombs and assorted other curse words. You have to be able to suspend disbelief on a couple of matters. But the plot and story is just getting more and more crazy. So crazy in fact I can't wait til the next episode.

If you're not easily offended or can't stand blood, it's not for you. But if you're not, it's definitey a must check out kinda deal.

If you have Comcast, you can watch all of season 1 on demand. That's what we did. We made a whole lazy day of it, and just sat around getting fat on munchies and watching True Blood.

We've watched it since the first episode. I like it a lot. It could be much better, but it's certainly entertaining.

it's got to be better than Twilight, since Twilight was geared towards teenage girls
True Blood is certainly not geared toward teenage girls. It's HBO -- thus it has sex, violence, language, etc.

I watch it too, Romosapien9.. I started watching it about midway through the first season after hearing people talk about it.

I also started watching Dexter recently after one of my teammates on my hockey team told me about it. I ended up downloading, and watching the first 6 episodes in one night. Interesting story.

By the way, i absolutely love the song during the opening credits for True Blood, i guess 'theme song' is what it's called. Whatever it's called, awesome song.

Been an interesting second season so far (much more of Anna Paquin than I ever thought I would see), I'm actually looking forward to next week.

Love the show. I find the premis interesting. And now that Admrial Cain (Micheal Forbes) is aboard all the better. ;)

Same here. My wife hates it because we DVR it and I won't let her fast forward through the credits. The video and song together are awesome.

Yeah, i figured it was called something with 'Bad Things' in the title, but i didn't know who sang it. Do you happen to know if the artist has an entire album with this song in it? And whether the rest of the songs are any good?

Thanks btw.

I don't have HBO, so i've been watching it online. The 1st time i saw the show, i must have played it a dozen times before i even started watching the rest of the show. It drove my wife bananas. :laugh1:

I know what you mean. I can stand to look at her back side a bit more though.;) I never thought she had much of anything back there but she's got something.

One of the better shows on tv right now. Also Dexter.

Agreed! I can't wait for Dexter to come back. :p:

As for True Blood, we rented it at Blockbuster last year before it aired and we were hooked! The worst part was waiting 4 weeks for the show to finally air.
