Truly looking like a "house money" game!

Detroit proven last season they have become a legitimate Super Bowl Contender, outside of a few bonehead coaching decisions they should of played the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. They now have upgraded their team and have revenge on their minds. This could be a real ugly game for the Cowboys, especially with their depleted defense. In my opinion, it's a house money game, they are expected to lose. Show up play loose and turn it into a scoring fest, maybe they win on a turnover or get a special teams score.

Detroit fumbles about once per game, we could use that and a pick, if the D can hold their own or close to it, and we come up with a very good offensive showing, limited penalties, throw in 3-4 field goals from Mr Aubrey "Money" and our need and desire to win at home, we can pull this off.

I like our guys!

I would much prefer the Cowboys be expected/anticipated to win games against good teams because they’re viewed as superbowl contenders.

Cowboys O can move the ball almost at will between the 20s, they have to cash on all their EZ trips, FG won't cut it. D has to show up, but I won't blame them if they can't stop this team, their are depleted and Detroit is a high power offensive machine.

Sounds exactly like last week going into Pittsburgh.

I'm sure the refs will keep the Cowboys in the win column, like they did vs Detroit the past two seasons.
Last year's was so obvious it left no doubt as to the officials being involved.
By the way; I think the NFL is planning on the Cowboys being in the Super Bowl.
Probably vs the Chiefs.

I think most all would say that Detroit is by far the tougher match up esp their oline against our depleted line.

Hopefully they play loose and surprise us...4-2 before the bye was almost unthinkable a few weeks back after they lost those first 2....

I generally like you and your posts but I’m thinking we have a different idea as to the definition of “house money.”

They can’t lose this game and have it make no difference.

...most people have us losing by few. So in other words, its a toss up.

It could break either way.

Who knows in today's NFL? But I wouldn't exactly fancy our chances having watched our games so far this season. Save for week 1, we have been absolutely putrid.

Oh no, the Lions want R-E-V-E-N-G-E!!!!!!

WE better put on old knights armor to deal with the ferocity the Lions are gonna play with this weekend. I hope no Cowboys die this weekend.
If we are being honest there are two things in play here…..

1. they are better than us on paper.

2. #1 means absolutely nothing in todays NFL.

I suppose that’s why they play the games lol.
