knowing how this team works, they’re going to win against the lions and look like a “contending team” and then get blown out by Carolina a couple of weeks down the line

Detroit proven last season they have become a legitimate Super Bowl Contender, outside of a few bonehead coaching decisions they should of played the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. They now have upgraded their team and have revenge on their minds. This could be a real ugly game for the Cowboys, especially with their depleted defense. In my opinion, it's a house money game, they are expected to lose. Show up play loose and turn it into a scoring fest, maybe they win on a turnover or get a special teams score.
Detroit is basically the Saints on steroids and are coming off of a bye. Just a tough matchup for the Cowboys even if we were healthy. Only chance is for the offense to play well and we get some turnovers. Right now the Lions are just a better team then the Cowboys.

If we are being honest there are two things in play here…..

1. they are better than us on paper.

2. #1 means absolutely nothing in todays NFL.

I suppose that’s why they play the games lol.
yep...ive been screaming from the rooftops for a decade now, the SALARY CAP WORKS! The Niners are 2-3... but wait, arent they th ebest team in the NFC?
The Bengals are 1-4.
The Iggles are what? 2-2?
Lets not change things, the J-E-T-S were in fact predicted by many people to be in the Super Bowl this year, and they stink.

Week to week in this league...... dont even try to predict.

We are heading into the bye and we are at home. Let the young guys run and hit and open it up on offense.

Come out swinging and dictate tempo. Get the crowd noise going. Get Detroit to tighten up and start making mistakes.

Turn it into a black and blue game and leave it all on the field bc you know rest and reinforcements are coming right around the corner.

In short— turn into a pissed off wounded animal and make them HATE playing you bc every yard and pass is contested, and every block and tackle is personal.

Hopefully Detroit comes out a little rusty from their bye, and over-confident bc of our injuries.

if both teams play their best as regards their current starting 22, Detroit will win
That pretty much never happens though
Detroit SHOULD win but you never know

Cowboys will need 35 points to make this game close.

Yeah this team is toast. This game and the 49ers game will pretty much seal up the season.

The betting line is set, with Detroit being favored by three points.

That's, without a doubt, never any guarantee of winning.

Brandon Aubrey could even that up with one kick.

Enjoy the game, regardless of the results!

Too much hand wringing going on. The Lions are not some great team. I thought our offense would do nothing against the Steelers, and they played well beyond my expectations.

As long as Dallas doesn't leave a ton of points on the field like they did against Pitt, we should be fine. We'll also find out a lot more about our D this week. Week 2 could have been an anomaly because no team is who they are in the first couple of weeks. The Lions also don't have Lamar Jackson under center, they have Goff. I expect the Cowboys to win at home this week.
