BREAKING NEWS Trysten Hill torn ACL

Injuries are a part of football. The teams that plan accordingly and draft well are teams that can weather the storm. The Cowboys are not in that category which is why stuff like this ends up hurting so much.

I get what you’re saying. But no team can ride out what we’re going through.

Look at SF yesterday and they got multiple starters back

Sorry guys. I posted last week that this appeared to be the year the Cowboys get bit badly by the injury bug and I predicted more injuries for them. I hope I didn't jinx them. Not that I am superstitious or anything like that. But the Cowboys now have 4 key offensive players out for the year and we are only 5 weeks into the season. Hill is another starter, this time on defense, out for the year. Amazing considering a lot of people were picking the Cowboys for the Superbowl.

Cowboys defensive tackle Trysten Hill is believed to have suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in Sunday’s win against the New York Giants, according to multiple sources. He will have an MRI Tuesday morning. If the test confirms the diagnosis, he would be the 10th starter to land on injured reserve this season. Hill, the team’s second-round pick in 2019, suffered the injury in the third quarter.

Sucks. He was putting it together

Sure, there is always a tipping point but again, this happens to most teams that get hammered by injuries. I'm thinking this is just going to be one of those years where it's going to suck a lot with a few wins. Given the COVID stuff and the lack of any training camp and a new coach trying to implement things.

Honestly....I would not spend another dime signing anyone. Hell, it's not like some HOFer out there sitting home can save us. Right now it is what it is, roll with it. If we continue winning, great. Losing will show the REAL character players coz they play hard regardless. In other words, losing will tell us the keepers and the axx we need to cut. (LOL)

Well I hope you're happy with yourself.

Might as well call back the triplets and Romo to comeback and play at this rate. We’re gonna run out of players :banghead:!!
Well looks like we may pick in the top 5 now. Happy? I’m actually looking forward to not having to defend Dak every week. Going to be hilarious the excuses these guys come up with for dalton when he is seeing ghosts out there

Is Gallimore in a position to step up and take his place? He has yet to really play this year after being heralded as a draft day steal. Sad that the Colts stole a Dallas DT from the practice squad (Ron'Dell Carter) and that Dallas failed to sign DT Harrison before he signed with Seattle.

He has having a solid year , that’s too bad. Need to make some kind of move at DT.

It’s crazy he rated the worst DT in the league. But he damn sure hustles

He will get snaps for sure. But I’m positive they’ll start Crawford and use Gallimore and Woods as rotational guys

Feel bad for Hill as he was finally starting to pan out. It might be time to claim Snacks off Seattle’s PS.

Off season programs make a big difference..
The programs make a difference, but a lot of these injuries are flukes.

If Hill lets himself fall on top of Jones, he probably gets flagged for unnecessary roughness.

So Hill tried to hold Jones up, or at least let him down easy, his foot caught the turf oddly as he fell and there went the knee.

That was Dak's 259th career rushing attempt. 258 times he either wasn't tackled or was tackled without incident. The tackler just brought him down tough and there went the ankle.

it's crazy how random it can be

Sad for him.

We beat him up pretty bad the past year, but he was the only tackle playing representative football this year. Poe is a potted plant.

Very well put EROD. I took the time to watch Poe Sunday and this slob gets pushed all over the field play after play. Horrible signing as the guy is just picking up a check. Sickening to watch.
