This will linger into the draft and he doesn't sign one before then we all sit hopelessly watching pick after pick after pick after pick...Our QB throws a pick...more picks. At some point we yurn for a QB pick to provide validation we are moving on from said QB, and no QB will get drafted. Next day, 5/290 signed. Wait for it

Graziano is pretty well plugged in. That said, the stench of that horrendous playoff disappearance was so bad, it apparently sobered up the owner and his half wit kid. Believe your eyes Jerry and Stevie, it REALLY was THAT BAD.

Don’t think it’s possible with our cap. If a deal isn’t made a bunch of other moves would need to be made.

I Agree with what you’re saying. But if they don’t they cannot do anything in free agency or resign anybody

There it is.

Hope.
lol. From the article:

According to ESPN NFL insider Dan Graziano, "we shouldn't assume" that the two sides will agree on an extension in large part because of the incredible leverage that Prescott has right now to keep his lucrative contract completely as it is. Graziano pointed out that Prescott's current contract gives him total, final say over anything that the Cowboys want to do with his contract.
Graziano has not said anything that has not already been stated 'as fact' on this forum. By non 'NFL insiders'. For years. Hope has been present for a very long time if that is the criteria for it to exist.

We will read this news as hopeful that after this season we can move forward with a new QB guiding our team. Come draft time, our QB will remain unsigned which will lead hope to us that we may indeed be moving on and it will start with the drafting of a QB in RD 1. The inevitable signing to his 5-year/300 Mill extension will be announced when this does not happen. I'm over tired so this may make more sense, lol? In a nutshell

If no extension then make him a June 1st cut.

Get rid of him don't drag it out another year.
If he plays hard ball on the negotiations like last time then cut him June 1st. One promising report was Jerry stated Dak “had room for improvement”. If Dak and France come in with demands of 60 APY, no trade clause, no franchise clause. Then cut him June 1st. I think the Green Bay loss took some shine off of Dak’s star in Jerry’s eyes. Hopefully

Exactly..............if Dak and his agent come in to Jerry's office demanding the richest contract in NFL history, then Jerry should just turn around to the TV on the wall and start playing the Green Bay game.

Dak best be given us a hometown discount ($50 a year max) after that abortion of a game.
