this is about the same amount the teams will need to put in separate accounts because of the lawsuit. I do not think it is coincidental.
some of the owners are not all that rich; and then of course there is Green Bay which is community owned.

Can someone please do the research and tell me what revenue streams are “national” and thus shared and which only go to a particular team?
Tv, merchandise are the 2 biggest

Aren’t ticket sales shared with visiting team? Seems I read that somewhere pertaining to the Commanders cheating visiting teams
You are correct although each franchise shares below 40% of its home game ticket sales. That portion is distributed equally among all clubs. The remaining 60%+ ticket sales revenue is retained by each home franchises. I will update my earlier post. Thanks.

I wish franchises were public instead of private business entities. This sort of information would be more easily accessible and verifiable if NFL franchises were the former.

You are right… they would still go cheap.
Yep, they are "all in" on their philosophy ... pay their own, draft well and fill out the rest with cheap free agents. They have added pilfering the UFL for talent the last few years, so they've shown a willingness to adapt (wink, wink).

This year, they have let more players leave than in the past, but I believe they feel like they've built the roster to handle that. They don't need a Stephen Gilmore because they've hit on Diggs and Bland. They could let Tyron age out because they hit on Tyler and UDFA Bass (giving them some insurance if the first-round pick isn't ready). They could let Biadasz walk because there didn't appear to be a big difference between him and Hoffman, they knew the draft was deep in centers and they also again had Bass to compete for the spot (before getting Beebe). Pollard didn't play well enough as the starter to make them feel they couldn't replace him. Etc.

They went and got a middle linebacker that fits Zimmer's scheme and can lead it. And they seem to have shifted their philosophy to any back will do.

this is very important to the joneses
It's very important to every business in the world, actually.

The ironic thing is that this particular business, known as the Cowboys, improves it bottom line despite a failed product .

The problematic part is that we believe sucess is in winning Championships.

Ratings and popularity defines sucess in this business because it's only really ENTERTAINMENT.

It's the reality of it

The National Football League pulled in a ridiculous amount of money in 2023, and as a result, the Dallas Cowboys are getting a fat check.

According to Kurt Badenhausen and Lev Akabas of Sportico, the NFL pulled in about $13 billion in national revenue during the 2023 campaign, and thanks to the league's revenue-sharing deal, the Cowboys and the other 31 teams are pulling in anywhere between $402 million and $425 million from that.
Nothing compared to the Cowboys side deals.
