Tucker SUX!!!

OK...I can't hold back anymore....

When Flo went down my biggest concern was Tucker being able to man that spot (and I shared my concern big time)....well he's NOT! He is freak'in pathetic at best. He is getting beat play after play after play...he single handedly has the potential to lose games down the stretch for us. The pressure on Drew almost ALL came from his side. The inside swim move gets him every single time.

Some of you are starting threads on Drew not performing the same...well go back and look at his pressure from his blind side and it will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know.

Denver will eat his lunch and put his head on a silver platter....then present it to Drew.....

We are drafting a top notch LT in the first round...bank on it!

Tucker isnt' all that, but like QC, Hutch, VT, Ryan Leaf, et al ... he's all we have at this point.

Who do you suggest we replace him with???

Hopefully, Flozell will return healthy next year. He hasn't been overly injury prone during his career.

Unfortunately, I think you are correct in this. Bledsoe has felt enough pressure from his back side for him to lose confidence in Tucker. This is impacting his play and really affects the whole left side.

He is having some problems, but he has played better than I thought he would, I know that is scary. At least he has not been melting down with penalties. It is definetly a problem, but right there is nothing else we can really do.

We will not be drafting a top notch LT though. Flo will be coming back.

Nobody...not suggesting anyone. We have what we have...a horrid LT that may cost us a game all by himself.

We are now altering plays because of him............

You make a good point. If we are down to Torrin Tucker as a starting tackle, aren't we one injury away form an OL meltdown of massive proportions?

No, we will not be drafting a LT in the first round next year... and I'll put up some scratch.

I mean really, we'll have Adams coming back and Petitti will be that much better... It would be a complete waste.

Now if you told me we were drafting a decent guard at #2 or #3, I'd be right there with you.

I undertand where you are coming from...but I thing Flo will finally move to the right side and we will get a top flight LT...JMO. We won't know until April...

More crying...do you realize that he's still learning this position. How much time has he played LT? Plus the Lions DE was offside on so many plays, I think Flo and every other OT in the league would have had a few problems. He's our backup, do you expect a team to carry a probowl backup?

PF.... could that happen? Sure it could. Absolutely!

But honestly I don't see Petitti as being a car wreck... I really don't. And you give him another offseason to improve his strength and technique and you could have a very nice starting RT there for a number of seasons. And if Petitti can be a servicable RT, there is no need to move Flozell there.

The other thing that tells me that we won't go OL in the first round is the huge amount of money we already have tied up there. I think by hook or by crook we have to make due with what we have.

Don't get me wrong...I like Pettiti and he has been a pleasant surprise. Looking at game replays he's been playing pretty well overall. There's noway I'm writing him off. Just looking at what would be better for this team...Flo is a solid LT, but not great. I would love to improve that spot...I just have a feeling we will grab one of these good OT this year very early. It's a very good OT class.

He will be cut by next year....take that to the bank.

He's changing our playcalling.....no question about it. Bledsoe is not getting time to throw the deep ball...the pocket is colapsing.

I definitely would not be surprised to see us take an OT 1st round. This is one of the deepest ot drafts ever. could be a possibility 2nd round also.
