exactly but the last 3 years and 42 million with no guarantees for Zeke so it's not as big of a deal as people think

And Zeke still has to play out his rookie contract with the fifth-year option first before the new deal kicks in.

Which is all 99% of the people not happy with Zeke holding out (including me) wanted in the first place. We all knew Zeke was going to get paid but under what conditions was the main issue. Everyone walked away with what they wanted.

And why did we know that? Because Jerry said he would pay him like two years ago.

They can both claim victory.
-Zeke beat Gurley in guarenteed money.

-The Cowboys have alot of contract control over Zeke.

-The extension that was signed was more per year than what Gurley is getting

-The AAV the Cowboys are paying Elliott over the time they have him locked up is less than Gurley.

But whats really important for both side is that 1) Elliott got his guarentee's 2) Dallas can easily get out of the contract when Elliott is 28/29 (cant remember which)
