I know Turpin is having an awful time as of late, with drops, fumbles, and even a bonehead fair catch penalty. So it's tempted to just sit him down and not use him in the offense.

BUT, I 100% believe that Turpin is going to be needed down the stretch. They'll need him to make a big play in a close game, on special teams, or within the offense. And he can.

Opposing defenses will soon game plan how to shut down CD and Pickens (and on some 3rd downs, they'll both be doubled). So then the best matchup is going to be the slot and Ferg. I believe Turpin can beat most slot CBs (and certainly a safety) on a slant or a 10-yard out. And I still want to see Turp used in a WR screen, it just needs to better blocked (especially from the other receivers).

So don't abandon Turpin yet, he's going to be needed as this team pushes forward...and he still is a big play waiting to happen. His time is coming.

I kind of agree, that Turpin has done enough (at least until early in the season) to deserve another chance.
Good lads, I am hoping Turpin can get back into the groove.

He had quite literally probably the worst fumble I've except seen from a cowboy (except maybe when Quincy Carter used to go to throw the ball and his hand would come up empty)

Rather have Flourney or Mingo out there, he's 50 50 to come up with and doesn't run a complete route tree. At best he gets 8 yards on the sweeps/reverses.

Don't get the organization's fascination with Turpin. It's like they are trying to play up their "great find."

Did I just dream about him having a 48 yard catch and run? Was it someone else who had a 28 yd kickoff return avg yesterday?
I hear you

I think Turpin is just the Sam Williams on offense. He’s going to give you 1-2 good plays a game. But he’s also going to give you 1-2 bonehead plays

I have no issue using him occasionally. But he is not a real WR. He is a gimmick player and can only be used in certain situations because of his size. Those crossing routes are perfect for him because he can use his speed to get separation. But his hands are not that great so it's a risk he drops it. If he catches it he can turn on the burners and bet the defense for some yards. Using him in the backfield though, that is just stupid.

I’ve got no problems when he plays WR

My problem is when it’s a big 3rd and 6 he does not need to be an option

Stop it. They've been doubling, you can't double both cause then there's Ferguson, and Jovante would eat them up.

They've been going single and double high on them all they do is cut their routes and go under coverage and eat up large chunks cause the middle is open.

There's always going to be somebody open because they're just that good. You think they just started kill teams this week?

This team isn't just cd and gp. There's Ferguson, Jovante, Turpin, and now Flournoy. All can beat coverage with Williams eating up the defense with the run, oh yeah now there's Davis. Nobody was doing anything on the eagles def. Once they adjusted at halftime, eagles def was destroyed. So stop with the dramatics, you can't stop tandem like CD and GP once they buy into the system. And now that they have , they hant been stopped. GP is the best 50/50 guy in the nfl.
