FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys continue to work to improve their wide receivers room, the latest effort featuring a former standout wide receiver for TCU who just became the USFL MVP.

Anyone who can help in the return game is welcome. Heard some folks around here clamoring for him so we'll see. At 5' 9" and shifty, maybe a Beasley wrinkle as well? Where does he fit in a crowded receiver room though?

Better than the oversized WRs that can’t create separation, and when they get the ball thrown to them they drop it.

A dangerous returner is worth a lot; we have not had one is so long....

Actually I cannot remember when we had one.
Reggie Swinton comes to mind and after him Dwayne Harris in recent memory.

Lucky Whitehead had some decent returns.
And another player looked decent, but never showed much more than a few returns, he had a few electric returns.
Woody Danzler.
But it may have been more pre-season games for him.

This is good news. Why subject Lamb to the wear & tear & risk of special teams? So he can average numbers that are highly mediocre in the NFL? Wanna bet Turpin can average seven or nine yards or more per punt return while Lamb is utilized in almost infinitely more important ways?! Hope the kid makes the roster.
