At first, I was annoyed we couldn't keep JLew, but, with the numbers, I get it and should make for a good comp pick. Not bad considering 1. How long he's been here and 2. Considering we drafted him in the 6th round. We probably will be getting back at least a 4th next year for him, so I'm fine with it.

correct you can't keep everyone. Golston and Jlew will have to be repealed and im sure that Turner DE from the saint's former 1st rounder could be the next Fowler.

I remember the same negative energy from guys like Robert Quinn and Fowler but turned out the revived their careers here, or Kendricks's anther FA who was an afterthought and played GREAT..

i know jerry gets a lot of flack but some of these free agents actually work out. realize Aubrey, Turp and butler all FAs but not seen that war. All came from the UFL and look like keepers.. so some of these low level signings can turn out to be really good..

I really like how they've been incorporating him into the running game, and not just trick type plays. He's remarkably good at rushing the ball up the middle.

Not all true, he can play from anywhere, so that's up to the coaches to make sure they can utilize all the weapons. MM struggled with that. guaranteed Vaughn and Turp would have been far more effective with a more creative OC/HC...

but you can have two guys coming from inside one in motion from one side and one leaves from the slot. misdirection and motion need to be here from day 1 game 1 not wait until the seasons in jeopardy to start throwing it all out...
