It would still be my plan to use Pollard in the slot because he's a proven NFL contributor. However, there will be times when Pollard will be out of the game or will be in the backfield giving Elliott a rest. I'm not sure having Lamb, Tolbert and Washington out there as the three receivers during that time will be a better option than having Turpin in place of either Tolbert or Washington.

The problem with signing a rookie to a one year deal is...he might turn into something. Then when you have to re-sign him, he'll want more money. If they signed him with no guarantees and no signing bonus, then it won't cost us anything to cut him. And if he does turn out to be something then we have him for two more years at a good price.

This kid is Tyreek Hill. Just get him the ball and he finds a crease or makes one. If he can stay healthy and available. No off field stuff, he will be a nice addition for us on Special teams. Gives us some juice we lack.

There was a post earlier that talked highly of this dude and I wanted to ask questions but got distracted. So, I remember this dudes name when discussing him during his college years. Watching that video he’s got moves and enough speed to make a lot of exciting plays. Why didn’t he score more as a wr at tcu?

I'm not sure what you're smoking, but your reading comprehension is lacking. If either Elliott or Pollard is not on the field, then someone has to be on the field instead of the one who isn't out there. They do not have to take breathers at the same time for someone else to be in the game.

My preferred lineup at the time would include both of them being out there at the same time, but when Elliott goes to the sideline for a break, it will be Pollard in the backfield and either three receivers and a tight end, two receivers and two tight ends, etc., out there with him. Same when Elliott is out there, with a few other packages mixed in as well.

When we go three receivers with Pollard in the backfield and Elliott on the sideline, our receiver choices with Gallup sidelined are Lamb, Washington, Tolbert and Turpin. I can't say right now that Washington and Tolbert are better options for that than Turpin.

I'm hopeful that we'll have Elliott and Pollard on the field together a lot this year, but there will be times when we only have one of them out there, and during those times, we need to find out what our best personnel options might be.

My guess is, scheme they ran at TCU. In the right scheme, he can be dynamite. Right now I will settle for a return guy that is at least a threat. This might prove to be a great steal. James Washington is my guy but I am starting to become concerned with his oft injured issue he has. He does us 0 good if he is always hurt and unavailable. Kid needs to get off the training table fast and get up to speed. Hes already missed all of mini camp and now he is struggling to stay involved. Not a great sign.
