I'm impressed. This kid will definitely have special teams coaches sweating on the sidelines during kickoffs/punts.

He needs playing time as a WR and needs to be utilized as a deep threat and slot player.

Plays similar style to Tyreek Hill with ability to create massive separation with speed and quickness.
I could see him lining up in the slot but taking a pitch from Zeke or Pollard at some point too.

I truly get the excitement but some of you ready to rush this kid to IR.
He has excellent playmaking ability and used sparingly and effectively could be huge

use too much or wrong it will be just another short lives feel good story

How did this kid not get a chance from any other NFL team? Turpin's TCU highlights showed the speed, quickness, elusiveness, awareness and vision. And he went undrafted. Wow!

Yep . And also worth noting is being he played at TCU before being kicked off the team after pleading guilty to domestic violence case , we actually might have been more familiar with him than most.

I just wouldn’t conduct too many interviews , he’s not the most well spoken athlete:)
I haven't heard him speak... but you know me, just score on Sunday, that's all I care about.

This has to be the most exciting Cowboys preseason game I can recall in years . It was our first road preseason win since 2012 in Oakland . But last night was all about Kavonte Turpin.

This could be the Cowboys most exciting free agency acquisition this era. I can’t even think of another one I’d compare. It’s amazing more teams weren’t seeking out the MVP of this past season in the USFL.

Turpin got the Cowboys their first lead of the game with a 98-yard kick return for a touchdown in the first quarter, then just to show it was no fluke, he added an 86-yard punt return score with just 52 seconds left in the first half.

And he came out in second half without any pads on. His roster spot secure and we might not see him again until Sept 11. Turpin certainly makes the expectations of this upcoming season more exciting and interesting. What a refreshing spark . Wow!!!

I agree! 100%!

Turpin led the USFL in receiving yards, so he can catch the ball. He also had 129 yards rushing.

Dante Hall 2.0.

Dude is the real deal. He had his pads off by the end of the game, made the team a few seconds after catching the ball, freakin' twice.

He could record for returns for TDs in 2022.

I'm anxious to see how Kellen Moore utilizes his skillset. Just wow.

Domestic abuser. Teams stayed away.

Sure, but the thing is. They can't retroactively enforce any rules in order to suspend him. Hopefully, all that nonsense is behind him. And he keeps his head in the right place.

Violence is never the answer. But some people have to unlearn the behavior that stems from the animalistic parts of the brain that are prone to violence.

I'm more forgiving about these things when it's someone in their early 20s as opposed to someone older.
