There are so many great Cowboys on the team. If we retired numbers or avoided using them then we would end up running out of numbers 50 years from now.

I don't know where we draw the line, but we will need at least 75-80 some odd numbers to field a squad every year. That's your 53, your PS 16 and those on IR, NFI and other situations.

I'm not a fan of the jersey number changes for the different positions. I don't have a problem with another QB wearing #9. But nowadays, anything goes when it comes to jersey #'s.

The only offense that approaches blasphemy is what the refs did to Romo and Dez in the DEZ CAUGHT THE BALL game. Seriously, the NFL owes Dallas multiple draft picks for that circus. And McCarthy is complicit as well, as far as I'm concerned. Whether or not their robbery ultimately affects the outcome of the game is irrelevant. That is the greatest disrespect shown to Romo.

I agree, NFL has turned into college football 2.0...
