So Jerry charged Jaylon 450k for the leftover 54 jerseys.

Now he is gonna sell the remaining #9s by swapping out the name stich with Turpin.

And you people call him dumb?

Wonder if he called Turpin personally with the same old dead college buddy story he gave Lamb.

Last four players to wear number 9 for the Dallas Cowboys:
- QB Tony Romo
- LB Jaylon Smith
- K Lirim Hajrullahu
- WR KaVontae Turpin
Romo was a good QB and I liked him a lot.
That being said, He wasn’t good enough that his jersey is off limits. Sorry.
Cowboys don't have any jerseys that "is off limits". That being said", no player was ever "good enough".

The Cowboys do not, never have and never will, retire numbers. Romo was very good for us, but he couldn’t win in the playoffs and is not headed to the HOF. Why the heck would we retire his number. There are not even enough numbers to retire those of our HOF players.

I don’t get the sacred number thing.

No need to say your sorry.

Romo was a nice free agent quarterback.

Let’s leave it at that.

Cowboys dont retire numbers. Babe mentioned it a couple weeks ago. He said when he joined the cowboys they wanted to know if he wanted 12, because that was the number he had at SD.

He declined.

Is 9 really that historic of a number? Rodney Pete was a solid backup, but I have no issue with another player wearing it.

When someone is given the number or 8, I'm going to lose it. In fact 22 is off limits to me also, unless they draft Emmitt's son.

Call me old fashioned but I still don’t like position players wearing single digits. Just looks dumb and amateur, like college. Worst rule change in a while imo. But I digress.
well in Turpins case

hes pretty skinny need to give him 100 or 000 to make him look bigger

single digits make him look lie HS player.:lmao2:

FRISCO, Texas — Tony Romo fans, look away.

KaVontae Turpin, who made strong impressions as a kick returner during the preseason, is expected to wear the No. 9 jersey this season, according to the Dallas Cowboys' website.

Turpin will be the first offensive player to wear that number since Romo, who retired in 2017. The 26-year-old is also the first Cowboys receiver to wear No. 9.

I don't like the single digit numbers for non QBs/Kickers.
