I heard Sham and the pregame guys talking about that last week. Apparently Turpin's vision wasn't just a little off, it was terrible. Turpin said he couldn't even see the ball on punt returns until it got really close to him. Sham said it was one of the more amazing stories he'd ever heard -- how in this day and age can a pro athlete have vision that bad for that long and nobody catch it?
if he doesn't tell anyone

If the world has been fuzzy most of your life how would you know any different?
Yep, I remember getting contacts in high school. It was just like Turpin - amazing how clear everything suddenly became.

It is odd this happening to a pro athlete, though. You'd think they'd be tested on that every year.

It’s shocking they can’t find ways to get him the ball more and let him use his speed in open space.
Because we have the worst coaching in the league. There is not a single game where coaching gives us an advantage.
The system works when you have the more talented football team. It's why we have crushed inferior opponents over the last three years. But it is not effective when playing a team of equal or greater talent. We are not a talented football team right now and the lack of offensive success shows it.

Turpin should be wr 2. Period. What a shame he never got used properly. He's a weapon. This staff is inept.

Turpin played some RB at TCU.
I would like to see him line up in the backfield some.
