Turpins vision on returns!

Turpin is too little and skinny, he’s only good on the lower level of football

We all hold our breathe when he has the ball in his hands, what a fun player to have. One thing in just watching a video on him this season was how he doesn't utilize his vision well all the time.

On several returns, it felt like he ran right to where a guy was, instead of taking those quick feet and going another way. I hope this is something he works on this off season!!
I remember one where he could have gone all the way, only 2 guys left to beat, and he ran straight into them!
It was weird, I was stunned by that.
I guess he isnt very bright.

There is nuthin' wrong with Turpin's vision ....he has a knack for openings and he has big league open field run skills and burst.

I think the problem is Turpin's balance...... it's way too easy to trip him up at his feet .
One shoestring or pinky finger tackle ....and he's tripped to the ground.

The best return guys, and open field runners for that matter, instinctively cut behind a would-be tacklers as soon as he commits himself to one direction or the other - at full speed. Gayle Sayers was the epitome of an instinctive open field runner, IMO. He made defenders look silly.
They also help the blocker early with a head, shoulder fake to get the defender to commit to a side. Defender will always try to use sideline as help as last resort. Use of just speed won’t get it done

I'm not a fan. He's got quick feet but I don't see a whole lot else.

It speaks volumes when a player receives a call from the owner/GM and thinks he's about to be cut. (And yes I know the call was to tell him he was in the pro bowl, whole lotta opinions out there different to mine)

Dude is blazing fast but has the vision like he is in a tight corridor.

Everytime he got an offensive play it looked like he almost got torn in half.
