I think to be a great HC and bit of fear by the players is important

I feel ya on this. He appears to have a bass ackward approach to the football aspects of running the franchise sometimes. So reactionary. There are only two logical explanations for this outside of incompetence. either 1) it is a loyalty test, or 2) Jerry wants to resign Garrett and knows the players will support him if he asks.
