I am not going to get too excited about Claiborne yet. he played well last year at the start of camp and then when the preseason games started he struggled to cover anyone,

He needs to do calf raises.

Oh, and I see Romo is ready to do Aaron Rodgers one better this year.* (If anyone gets the joke.) ;)

*First post, third picture.

I saw that! Romo is going to play with just one leg this season...shut up the "Cowboy Haters"...and we know who they are!

Ron Leary, even if beaten out , could have a long career in Dallas as a backup. Saves his knees and lets him play longer.... IF he gets beat out.

He may. The challenge is, however, would he want stay in Dallas as backup when he can hit the open market and make significantly more.

Good point. I think he's a goner after this year, barring something unforeseen happening.

I agree. If Parnell can get a great deal as a backup, I see no reason why Leary would not get a better deal elsewhere if he holds onto his job and does not miss too many starts.

In line blocking and strength, absolutely.

Kosier pulling though was like a fullback. He was so good getting outside the tackle.

And if he could get help standing guys up he could lock them down inline. I just want the road grader at guard that understands upfield angles. The movement outside is a bonus. Leary isn't half bad in his own right on the move and he's still young.
