If he comes back it will be 3 years. I think this is a real possibility. If we win no one will care and if we don't Jerry won't mind paying out Jason's contract for another chance at redemption.

I started a thread to give some reasons why keeping Jason and Moore, while overhauling everything else could make sense. Offense was good when players executed, and signing Dak to a long term deal the same year you change the offense on him doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Sturm wrote an article detailing how good the offense was at times this year. It's hard to argue with that.

Reality is that it is Jones' roster philosophy that is truly at the root of the problem. He is trying to win building a roster the way he did in the pre-cap era in the salary-cap era. 25 years later one would think he would learn that it doesn't work.
