Two massive questions facing Jerry Jones

1) Do we commit to paying TO guaranteed money over the next two seasons - no matter what - Do we a pay a 33 yr old WR Major CAP eating bucks, a guy who can go south at any moment.

2) Do we bring Parcells back? Some may say Parcells is as much a distraction and problem as TO. If I was the owner, I'd be livid at my stafff after last nite's whipping. We were outchessed all nite. It did NOT appear the Cowboys had a plan of attack whatsoever. Julius runs for 70 and they stopped running? The team looked tired as did the staff. When you only have to work 16 weeks a seasons - that effort is unacceptable.

Maybe JJ dumps both - which honestly , I'd love.

I don't think Dallas should re-up on TOs contract. Jerry had his try and it really hasn't made that big of a difference. Jerry was expecting super bowl with TO. If they make the superbowl, then re-up him cause it worked. If they don't make it then what good was it.....cut him loose cause I highly doubt he will behave as well next year.

A. We manage our cap well and TO's deal is reasonable.

B. Parcells is an outstanding coach who has taken us to being a first place team from a pile of crap. We have 3 games left against mediocre teams. Would an 11 win season stop your yapping?

And the "stopped running" analysis is just plain wrong. We were running regularly until NO hit 42. We just didn't have the ball very much. After that running would be silly -- we needed 4 scores in a short period.

Why does TO always enter into an equation, even when he behaves and a loss has nothing to do with him? Right now I feel like dumping Parcells and keeping Owens considering what happened last night. Owens was playing last night. The coaching staff wasn't coaching.

I agree on one thing..............why did we stop running the ball in the first half? It was pretty obvious we were having good results.

Owens..............lets talk about him after the season is over. He sure as heck didn't lose that game last night......it was strictly a team effort.

Why are people so adament about cutting TO. He has been a team player and he has been playing resonable well. He is worth it.

hmmmm....

1. You don't dump T.O. unless/until you have a plan to sign a FA or position yourself in the draft for a first rounder. There's no one on the roster ready to step in and actually produce at T.O.s level, even though it's no longer superstar level in my opinion.

2. You are forced to keep Parcells unless you already have a key guy ready to take over and step in....you don't say "see ya" and then go hunting for a coach.

This team is too far along...we will be in the playoffs, and next year should be better.

We have to improve our OL a little, add some speed and youth at WR, someone who's ready to play, not more projects, and we have to work out some issues on defense, not to mention finding a kicker we can count on.

I'd love to see T.O. and Parcells gone because I don't like either, am embarrassed by both for my own personal reasons, and because I'd like to see guys with more class at WR and a younger, more energetic and innovative coach.

However, I think you better keep both guys until you have the replacement plan ready to go.

I think this is what happens unless we go on an increadible SB run. I htink this last dumb interview with TO and Irvin will be the nail in his Cowboys coffin. Why do you do this interview right now? He is an insecure jack @&#*&!@^.

1. Keep Parcells.
2. Keep TO (and I was against the signing).
3. Go after Adalius Thomas in FA ... STRONG. Now you have your Carl Banks.
4. Get a star FS (either in FA or the draft).
5. Get a veretan backup QB in FA.
6. Draft a young NT to learn under Fergie.
7. Draft O-line ... don't be shy.
8. Draft a young stud receiver.

Numbers 3 & 4 should allow us to go from a solid defense to a dominating defense.

Numbers 6-8 help us build for the future.

After his TD, we were still losing the game. The TD itself was not a thing of beauty or worth celebrating.

If he celebrates a TD while we are losing, then he is considered selfish and only about himself.

You used the adjective 'pathetic', If I had to find somewhere to put the adjective 'pathetic', it would be towards posters that find fault where there is none just because it it Owens.

Owens didn't do anything last night deserving of critisism.
